Didn't see the first half, but I can't imagine it was much different than the second half.

Lovie really needs to be fired after this game. 10 penalties. Funny how Kyle Orton can leave and he's suddenly a star. Blame goes to the coaching staff. Too bad this organization is cheap.

Please don't mention Kyle Orton. He's in a situation that suits him great, with a good offensive line and talented receivers.

Blame goes to a lack of talent. Lack of talent blame goes to injuries.

-This team needs another top flight WR. Boldin
-This team needs Tommie Harris to be the Tommie Harris we remember. Restructure his deal.
-Wale is gone. Play Gaines and Mark Anderson.
-Mark Anderson was all over the place today. I really liked it.
-San Fran is a great run defense. Forte showed up despite that. Big ups.
-O-line is an issue still. We all know that.
-Cutler has some maturing as a QB to do. He's a massive talent but last year he was in a perfect situation. This situation, not so much. He's going to grow because of it. Peyton Manning had 100 INTs his first 5 seasons. He's going to be fine.
-The defense needs better linebackers. Somebody like Urlacher and Tinoisoamaoma. That would be nice.
-Manning can play free safety. We need another safety. Badly.

The rest of the season should be used to develop players.

Lovie needs less of a say in the front office but he's still a good coach. We were playing our 6th, 5th and 1st LB out there today. Our bad secondary was playing Craig Steltz and Josh Bullocks.

Cutler needs to improve. He's capable of this.

The Bears will not win another game this season when Davis called our team a bunch of pus**** and they could not get up then that is what the Bears are. This is one of the worst Bears team I seen of over 30 years of watching this ass of a team.

This team needs to stop being cheap and go waste some money. Every Chicago team is cheap, thats why they suck. Chicago has such a big fan base, for these teams to be so cheap is ridiculous. By going out and wasting some money and getting good players is a must for all Chicago teams.

Bingo this is why all Chicago teams treats it's fanbase like crap. I watched the last Bears game of the season because they just don't give a crap Lovie has to go this team gave up.

We're solely inconsistent. One week where we're doing amazing offensively(well, if you consider it amazingly offensively. At least Cutler got his stats), and poorly defensively the next the opposite happens. I'm not even sure exactly where to address the problems of this team other than maybe poor coaching.

I don't know.

One of the most telling things about this game was the Defensive lineman for 49ers were just teeing off. You could tell because the screens were working. I think we should have went back to that and went more no huddle because they were destroying our offensive line.

Penalties and turnovers = no chance.

I've got to say as much as the loss stings, the defense actually showed up for once. All the points on the board were due to the turnovers. I didn't see this game as being this close at all. Props to Wale for coming at Vernon Davis prior to the game. And props to the entire defense for containing Davis the entire game.

It still goes back to the o-line for me. I can point the finger at anyone on the line but Chris Williams just looks like a complete bum. Dumb penalties galore and when he's really adept at getting bull rushed into next week.

I hate constantly trying to stand up for Cutler - it WAS a crap game for him, after all - but one pick was on Hester slipping, another pick was on Hester pussy-footing it around the ref, and another (intended for Kellen Davis) was clearly pass interference. The other two picks were just awful. No excuses there.

Oh yeah, why does every Kreutz snap out of the gun have to be at Cutler's feet ? Makes you wonder about those snap problems he would have with Grossman/Orton.

Easily Hester's worst game as a pro - showing himself to be the 3rd receiver he should be. How about the series where he was called for holding, then offsides, then slips on his route to allow the INT ? What #1 receiver in this league does that? If he's not special on returns anymore and he's just an ordinary receiver at best, you've suddenly got a guy that's infinitely replaceable.

Aromashodu sighting !

Bullocks sighting !

I'm surprised a Singletary-coached team would have so many trash-talking punks on it. I expected more discipline. A lot of yappers over there.

And, Susan, I'm with you on the need to develop players the rest of the season but Lovie's style has always been to play the vets. You'll get a dash of Gaines Adams here and there but guys like Iglesias, Gilbert, and Moore still have to sit out the Lovie red-shirt year.

I don't know who deserves more blame, the OL or Cutler. WHy is Kruetz still in the leauge, he has forgotten how to snap the football. Chris Williams got manhandled tonight, along with Beekman. Garza had 2 penalties. I don't remember the OL ever being this bad before. Maybe the Kordell Stewart days.

Totally with you. The Niners couldn't cover the screen to Forte for shiz. REALLY surprised we didn't go back to that until they learned how to stop it.

The WR screens on the other hand.....ENOUGH !!!

This team has been woefully unprepared each of the last 5 games. They were caught extremely off guard by the offenses of Cincinnati, Atlanta and Arizona. How is that even possible in this day and age? There's thousands of hours of film and every single team in the league, but this defense, which is now coached solely by Lovie Smith, looked shellshocked in each of the last 5 games, including this one, including Cleveland. There's a difference between having good offenses beat you and having good offenses render you catatonic. The Bears were just frozen by these teams.

This team is also incredibly undisciplined when it comes to penalties. That's an indictment of the coaching staff as well.
