Artest: Kobe greatest to ever play

Post#1 » by Magic Mamba » Thu Nov 12, 2009 10:35 pm

MT: Turbo? Nitro? Anyway, let's get one basketball question in here. I want to get your take on Kobe Bryant, whom you’ve admired from an opposing point of view for several years before getting the chance to play with him.

Artest: Kobe is tough, he’s a great competitor, he’s smart, he’s a leader and he is always trying to work harder than everybody. That’s why I like him. I’m not going to compare him to anybody, I’m just going to say he’s the greatest to ever play.

Doesn't matter what Artest thinks. We all know who the greatest to ever play was.

You really can't say who the great player to play is. It's not like prime Kobe could play prime Jordan and prime Shaq could play prime Kareem.

You can name the great players of a certain generation and put them in a group and that's the best you can do.

Scary as Kobe has about 6 maybe 7 productive years still in his career, especially the way his post up game has become.
