This season is going to be like this up and down. The bench need to respond and play better next game vs Lakers.

Andersen is just a terrible NBA player at the moment. He is just too soft. And i cringe everytime i watch him shoot a 3 point shot. He's a shooting big who can't shoot 3s. That's just... fail. He has potential to be a contributor but right now he is too poor of a defender and rebounder to warrant playing time.

well guys, a really funny game despite the bad output. Same as I said a couple times, AB needs to know what a PG is. When he tried to play somewhere close to a PG, he made some nice assists and Rockets regained leads or got close. Right after that, he entered into "SG dumb brick fest" mode and 9-10 points of difference... for the opponent team. If he decides to play PG, he may become a great player. Right now, he's extremely inconsistent and non trust-able.

Battier is an animal as usual, and I love Ariza and of course Luis. 3 players that aren't mentioned a lot in this board, yet they are the key of the team IMHO.

This being said, I tremble thinking T-Mac will be back soon and probably taking Ariza minutes. Just thinking of AB and T-Mac shooting 100 shots per game makes me wanna puke :(

btw, I expected to see more of Andersen, he's a very good defender and a great match-up for Kings' players, really don't understand why he played that little. I didn't understand many Adelman decisions as we're at it

I don't agree with any of those points. He's not very good in offense, but he's a pretty nice defender for what I saw.

I know what gave you that illusion. He was guarding Spencer Hawes yes. However against non Spencer Hawes of the league, his defense is awful.

after your extremely informative and educated post I checked his stats and I realize I confused him with Nugget's Chris Andersen. My bad.

Unfortunately saw the whole game, had a nice comeback to start the second half, but the Kings were hitting everything, and we couldn't grab a rebound to save our life. Ariza and Scola played well, but Brooks and Landry put up clunkers. On the road, we need those four - being our best offensive players to all be playing at a high level.

This Kings team plays hard, and Evans is a beast. We actually have the same record as them now. But this game stings, we had a shot on the road, but couldn't close it out. Now we have to play at LA against the Lakers, and the Suns on Tuesday (but at home). Those could easily be two more losses added up to our record.

Return to Houston Rockets
