Pacers have the best chance of beating the Celtics...

Post#1 » by Dunthreevy » Sat Nov 14, 2009 3:50 pm

...according to some sleep deprivation expert.

The Celts play tonight in Indiana, and coach Doc Rivers considers this back-to-back swing the toughest on the schedule.

“It’s an 8-7 - 8 p.m. start the first night and 7 the next,” he said. “(National) TV games always go longer, so you have that working against you, and then you have to get on the plane and have the early start the next night.

“I had our sleep-deprivation guy look at the schedule and point at the game that would be most difficult to win, and he said the Indiana game. But our bench is deeper now, and hopefully that will help.”

We need to run, run, run tonight. Pierce injured his knee last night and is questionable for tonight's game, and the Celtics just got beat last night. That loss was due in large part to Atlanta's youth and out working the C's on the glass. If we can push the pace tonight and shoot a decent % I think we have a good chance to win.

TJ Ford is listed as questionable (back), if he doesnt play that will definitely slow the pace of the game. If NBA 2k10 is any sign of things to come I just beat the Celtics at home in a 1 point thriller!

i couldn't have been more wrong. good game. your team played really well last night. you defended well, and shot the ball really well. two thing the celtics have not done at all during this two game slide they are on. jones smartly took advantage of pierce's hurting knee. granger was lights out n the first half, raining threes. rush was very active on d, and had a nice blocks. nice work.
