ESPN wrote: - The visiting Trail Blazers look for a sixth consecutive victory while trying to hand the Bobcats a fourth straight loss Saturday night.

- Portland, averaging 99.6 points and giving up only 83.6 during its five-game winning streak, won Friday despite shooting 37.9 percent. The Blazers outrebounded the Hornets 60-40 and finished with a 22-3 advantage in second-chance points.

- The 6-foot-11 Aldridge, who's averaging 16.5 points and 9.7 rebounds in his last four contests, once again provided a strong presence in the paint, especially on the offensive end where he made 10 of 19 shots.

Being at home gives us a chance. In Portland, these potheads would destroy us, no doubt.
Humble yourself.

great thread linus.

interesting about the pace of both teams. 2 of the 3 slowest teams. this game could be like watching a game in slow motion.

will either team break 90? i say no.

i'm going to the game tonight. should be fun regardless. will enjoy ragging on oden.

Can't say I disagree, that's a pretty bad spread.

true. the more I think of it though, lots of positives for Charlotte.

- Bobcats will be fresh, well rested.
- Raja Bell gives Roy hell usually
- maybe Crash can repeat that sick game he had last year
- Blazers on back 2 back
- obviously at home.

Blazers played last night and Charlotte gets a few points for being at home. So if the game were played on a neutral court with full rest the spread would be around 8.

I predict a win for the Bobcats. Blazers are on a back to back for the second time in a week on this road trip. Bobcats haven't played in a few days. I just have a bad feeling for the Blazers.

Just a question, how has Augustin looked? I haven't seen him play but was a fan when he was at Texas.

Actually of late he has suddenly pulled a mysterious disappearing act. Before his recent stretch of being non existent we had high hopes for him. But our entire team has been in a funk so it could be just a product of an overall malaise. If DJ doesn't wake up soon, our team will be adding point guard to the list of things we need, which is really an entire new team.

And yeah this should be a game the Bobcats win because of the Blazers schedule and we're rested.

We're only the third most blocked team in the league. Based on our first two possessions, I think it's safe to say we're gunning for that #1 spot!

Hopefully Alexi is inactive so he can take notes on what Aldridge does.
