Would Signing Delgado be a good idea?
I really liked Delgado in his times with the Jays. And I'm guessing many of you Blue Jays fans did as well. Does anyone think that sign Carlos Delgado would be a good pick up or no? I know he got older, but he did do better than Wells in 2008

I don't think this is OT...
Anyway, no, it wouldn't. As much as I love Carlos, even if there was a guarantee he would be good, we already have too many guys looking for PT at 1B, DH and LF. We need to spend the money we have on the other side of the defensive spectrum.

If the plan for this offseason is to opt for the status quo, and make a few deals where you move Overbay for an equality bad contract at another position and other small tweaks...yet expect me to pay the same ticket prices...
Then yeah,
Bring him in. Its owned to the fans at a minimum.
He was the bright spot in those terrible season, and left because we couldn't afford him.
It would be nice to bring one back for a change.
