Outlaw has a stress fracture in his foot. Great.

Ideas for who Portland could obtain to cover for Outlaw? I would suggest Kurt Thomas as a rugged pf who could be obtained somewhat easily. Rudy,Jerryd and Martell will need to pick up their scoring off the bench

I think this is a good time for Cunningham to get a look.

I think it's because we were drawing fouls at a ridiculous rate in the first q and he was trying to keep Joel from picking them up as well. It's the same reason he sits Oden for the whole 2nd Q if he gets 2 fouls in 4 minutes (like he did today) it's so he's in good shape in the second half with 4 fouls to burn if need be. That logic seems to have worked out ok so far.

Oh. I see. Bench a backup with zero fouls because he might get a foul. :o

Losing Outlaw is tough, but I expect this team's depth to compensate for his absence. Also, our defense should improve...

Blazers coming out on fire...good sign. Oden just looks fluid on offense when he gets the ball. Roy starting to feel it too.

I'm glad that Outlaw will be taken out of the rotation. We really need a backup PF that can rebound and plays intelligently, within the flow of the offense, and isn't constantly making stupid mistakes.

We have plenty of other players that can chuck it like Travis.

Two amusing things in this game:

1. Michael Jordan's facial expression they just showed.

2. The referees not blowing the whistle for Greg's 3rd foul until Felton's shot rolled off the rim instead of in.

Charlotte is a good rebounding team. I can't deny it.

Why'd he take Greg out again? Is he being benched for "ALMOST" fouls now?

Can Nate please trip on something and be out for the season?

Aldridge is acting pretty soft too. Aldridge had two nice looks down low and elected to pass it out. Pretty pathetic.
