Some might think this is a ridiculous Idea, and it definitely is not going to happen.

But I like it.

Yeah, you were the one saying Mathew would be starting over AK and Miles after all....

I like Maynor, but I am not ready to pronounce him a "starter" yet. It's going to take 10-15 games of consistent play for that to happen, but this was a very good sign.

I said i think Sloan might start matthews not that I would. I just think Maynor helps jazz have quicker pace in the game and can defend quick Pgs better.

Let's just hope Sloan makes Maynor the backup when D-Will and Price are back.

I has only been 2 games chill out. Teams have not even been able to scout Maynor. And it's not like he has played against the best of PG's.

This thread is pretty silly.

It is silly, but Maynor has shown some promise. The cavs are one of the better defensive teams in the league and Maynor was very composed out there. I wouldn't be opposed to him and dw playing together for spurts.

I was thinking about this in the shower and regret promptly agreeing with idea. Honestly I absolutely hate, hate hate having D-will play the 2. And the point was brought up that Maynor has not really been scouted and he most likely won't be able to have his way with as much effort for too long.

Still, the Jazz really lack play makers out there. Also, players like Maynor and Mathews are just so refreshing to watch, they really want to win and it shows. I think that Maynor has a lot to contribute right not and that some of that will go to waste unless we do play him by Dwill for spurts. I like that Sloan has given two rookies so much of a chance and hope he doesn't kill their excitement by benching them when Korver comes back.

I don't know. I just want whats best for the team and maybe a little experimenting on Sloan's part would help determine what that is.

I don't want to see Maynor in the start, but Wes would alright at 2 right now. He is OK passer and good 3 point shooter. So it may work.

LOL at everyone hating on our 20/10/5 PG.

I would like to see this:

Deron/Maynor/Price
Matthews/Miles/Korver
Brewer/AK
Boozer/Millsap/Koufos
Okur/Fesenko

I think Deron, Matthews and Okur provide enough shooting, and Brewer adds in some much needed athleticism.

Then Maynor, Miles, AK and Millsap is a very strong bench.

Why don't we take out best player and make him play with mittens on. And no sneakers he can only wear socks. And a large wrist weight on his shooting hand.
