New England Patriots @ Indianapolis Colts
Sunday November 15th. 8:20 PM.

Well, here we go. Another game in one of the best rivalries going. Here is a good link, a look at the past between the two teams

I got the pats taking down the undefeated colts in a high scoring game.

Go Pats!

I think it's going to be a little lower scoring than people expect.

The offenses wont win or lose this game, it will be the defenses. Indy's D is very banged up (missing 3 starters in the secondary and a starting linebacker) and is starting 2 corners are rookies. The Pats D is young and inexperienced. Should be a great game!

I hope both Tom & Peyton bring their A-game, all too often one of them throws a couple garbage int's that end up deciding the game.

Ty Law and Bruschi arent on the field so Manning should be safe

Julian Edelman, he's Wes Welker-lite.
A 7th round pick who was a qb in college but has been a return man and 3rd receiver, even filling in well in the slot when Welker was out for a couple games early in the year. He's just returning from injury though so I'm not sure he'll get much time tonight.

Ah, I see.

I have a question for you since you are a Pats fan. Do you think Welker is a product of the system? Meaning, he wouldnt be as good if he went to an average team with an average qb.(I believe this) I believe Manning has this effect on some of his Wr's.

I definitely don't think Welker is a product of the system, but I can see how you'd think that.
He used to absulutely torch us when he was with Miami, and that's my main evidence of him being good on his own apart from an established offense. I don't think Bill would use a 2nd rd pick to trade for a system player.

I forgot about his Miami days. I have always felt that way, but when Welker was hurt this season and his sub stepped in (Edelman maybe?) seemed to be just as good as Welker. This led me to believe what I was saying. I dont follow the Pats on a regular basis, but that is one of the reasons why I thought that.

He wasn't a guaranteed 100 catches with Miami like he is now, but he was real good.

from wiki:
Playing against the New England Patriots on October 10, Welker became the second player in NFL history to return a kickoff and a punt, kick an extra point and a field goal, and make a tackle in a single game. Then, on December 20, in a Monday Night Football game also against the New England Patriots, Welker returned a punt 71 yards to set up a touchdown.

randy moss cant be stopped...collinsworth was right he makes extremely difficult catches look very easy. It almost looks like he is only going at 80% effort with his long stride and natural ability. Incredible.
