Okafur anyone?
New Orleans trying to salary dump Okafur for Kings Thomas' expiring contract. Could he be the Jazz answer at center providing a defensive presence. He has been poor at New Orleans and has a long term contract. Here are trades they would likely do.
Boozer for Okafur
Boozer, Harpring, and Korver for Okafur and Peja
They do these trades in a second especially if the Jazz add a young player like Fess or Kosta. The question is would Jazz do these trades. It depends if Jazz liek Okafur and whether they think Boozer going to stay afater this season. Since I seriously doubt Boozer stays after this season, I think I might consider one of these two trades especially the one involving Peja if the Jazz think he has anything left.

Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

The Jazz can't afford to deal for Okafor. Had they not re=upped Okur, they could have made such a deal.

No way. No ****ing way. So we can here you complain for 4 more years about the power forward? Boozer is doing fine and he is an expiring contract. You trade to get BETTER, not be worse and have worse contracts on your team.

It was a good move in my 2k10 association but I wouldn't do it in real life.

One of the last teams I would like to see acquire Boozer's services is N.O.. I see future playoff heartbreak played in shades of irony written all over that one for the Jazz. Can't remember how he killed us as a Cav? At this point in my sports fandom, I would rather forego the sight of a Hornets' 'ship built around our castaways and could-a-beens.

Here's a trade I would do:
Outgoing f/erudite23:
Holy Toledo
1 Sig Bet Involving An Embarrassing Personal Admission
10 Personal Confessions of Paul>>>>>>>DWill
One Month Suspension From RealGM
Incoming to Hornets Board:
10 Inflammatory Threads/Week from NO-KG-AI
5 PER Is The Ultimate Valuation Of A PG Threads f/Copperhead
100 Free Trolling Posts From Random Hornets Posters
The Jazz Board is over the Mind-Numbing Holy Toledo Threads Cap and thus the 25% rule is invoked.
This trade works under the current CBA (Collateral Brain-damage Activity) agreement.
Good God could a mod please save us from this persecution.

No, Okafor has a worse contract than Andrei.

Okafor's contract money: 5+ times Boozer.
Okafor's contract leght: 5 times Boozer.
Okafor's abilities: 1/2 Boozer may be?.
Okafor toughness: 1/4 Kirillenko.
No, than you very much.

Re: Okafur anyone?
I know I might be completely off on this one, but I'm not really sold on Okafor. Sure he has some ability and he might be a defensive presence, but I don't know. The few times I saw him play, he always looked uninterested. Like he didn't give a ****. And I'd be ok if he actually helped the team win, but it didn't seem like that was the case. IMO, he would struggle playing with the Jazz. Plus he probably makes 4 million too much per season and he's injury prone. If he had a shorter contract, I believe it would be a good idea to take a chance on him, but with the contract he has, it's too risky.

Okafur never struck me as a guy who has a lot of passion for the game. It would be interesting watching him and Okur fight it out in the battle of who can care less.
Jefferson.....Jefferson.....Jefferson....

Re: Okafur anyone?
I actually think Okafor is well suited to play in a system like the Jazz do. He isn't a go to scorer but he can play in the pick and roll and would be a nice compliment with Kirilenko, and a good counter to what Okur brings.
Still I wouldn't want to lock up all of your cap space for the next 5 years with him.
