Raja Bell appreciation thread

Post#1 » by amcoolio » Mon Nov 16, 2009 4:29 pm

I'd love to see Bell come back to Charlotte somehow. Even though his scoring was sporadic, he's everything you want from a team leader. Plus he has an awesome ass name.

You will be missed.

Raja was the main contributor in the near playoff run last season. Seems like a great guy. From D'Antoni to Porter to Brown to Nelson. Quite a journey over the past year.

Raja meant more to this team than a lot of people give him credit for. I'll miss him because he's a perfect example of the type of players I love to watch. Good shooter, efficient, doesn't try to do too much, plays smart gritty defense and of course knows all the little moves that he can get away with even while the refs are watching. Pretty much the exact opposite of most of our team.

Hope you find your way to a contender soon.

yeah, kinda stinks that raja is getting shipped to a team in an equally bad situation. hopefully the warriors can move him at the deadline to a playoff team. its not like they need another shooting guard.

What all you guys said. He quickly became my most favorite player besides Crash and I hate we couldn't have gotten him sooner.

Good luck...and hopefully soon you'll get that ring you so deserve.

I'm really torn. I've always HATED Raja. He's just one of those dudes I find it very easy to dislike. But on our team, I loved him (I knew I would). He is a warrior and has that really cool swagger about him.

Now he has moved on, do I go back to hating him, or do I just miss him?

i feel bad for raja. He is moving to a team where he wont get the playing time he deserves. I loved him as a player he always gave 110%. U saw brown when he thought he was out for the season now just think about wat he is thinking now that he is gone...

Please don't take this as representation of us Suns' fans views towards the Bobcats or Raja. We REALLY appreciated Raja and his time in Phoenix, and we still miss him. You have every reason to feel the same way.

HOWEVER, if Jack can keep his mouth shut you guys look to have made off with the better half of the deal talent-wise. Your roster is actually a little scary.

I am from NC so I'm hoping this will be another step towards a playoff team.

I apologize on behalf of our inconsiderate "sun" fan. Raja is a player I miss having on our team and I thoroughly understand why you miss him.

Classy thread guys - Raja is easy to love, when he's on your team, isn't he. We miss the guy and constantly plot ways to bring him back to PHX.
Good luck with your team -

Suns fans respect the Bell Ringer! At least now he can get his surgery.
