I think the Lakers are in danger of hanging their hat on Gasol's return.

As you've just pointed out, SS, our bench is ****. Yes rotating in Gasol/Bynum/Odom with those guys is going to up production immeasurably, but that doesn't change the fact that Farmar, Sasha, Morrison, are just losers. No effort or heart. I think the team is just waiting for Pau. Well they'd better man up soon, because what happens when a key player becomes more than day-to-day?

We need to learn from an underdog team like the Rockets.

I don't know how to describe it but what is up the last 2 games. We are really close to the opponent at the half but as soon as the 2nd half starts we get blown out. We get the ball and try to make a pass but it gets stolen. There is absolutely no control. This team needs someone to step up and be a play maker in the second half. I believe that our problem in the 2nd half has to do with our tempo and it should be Kobe's job to set the tone and tempo for the game. With this much talent around him he needs to facilitate and forget the scoring.

Usually Kobe is the main play maker but maybe going away from the triangle has everyone screwed up. If Kobe can't get it done as a play maker then it is time to bring in a true play making point guard to help run this offense.

They adapt to our game very quickly seeing where our biggest weakness's are by halftime. Unlike our scouts who didnt know even know that David Anderson can shot the lights out.

``We obviously didn't know the scouting report that well on Andersen,'' Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. ``We knew he's a shooter but we didn't see him playing at that level.''

Well against the Laker's defense who doesn't look like an All Star? Its like every time brooks plays us he had a career game. Jennings might as well try to come in here and try to break the rookie record. He had 40 something in the half. Then the next we play him he will break Wilt's 100 points record.
