yes z needs to go so it will be guaranteed that him and z will never be on the floor together again unless they are playing eachother.

It's more likely now that Jack goes to the Bobcats.

As a Celtics fan, I hope you guys make this deal. I think there is going to be a point where either shaq goes down or you realize Z gets it done with Lebron better. Without Z, I'm not scared of you in the playoffs.

Shaq and West to GS for Turiaf - Jack - Maggette - Law

That puts the cavs in the NBA Finals.

We need someone with that fire and passion in their game definitely. Jackson or Wallace would definitely do that; theyre warriors on the court. But I think it would be best to wait till later in the season to look at trading for another star.

We've made Hickson our starter, which for now Im in favor of. Theoretically this should accelerate his growth as an impact player, should show off his growing talents and potential to other teams and possibly best of all it gives Andy and Z more time together which is a fantastic combination.

Just think about this; if Hickson really makes the most of this chance to start and starts doing things to show he has room to grow into a special player (not putting up 20/10 but maybe having a couple games like that), and Boobie keeps on shooting and defending the hell outta the ball, we've got 2 young players who'll have alot of trade value and reasonable contracts.

So imagine what a package of Z's huge expiring, Hickson, Boobie, and a combination of Danny Green or D-Block and a pick would look like to a team way out of playoff contention and struggling financially.

So we're talking about guys like David West, Gerald Wallace (who we probably wouldnt even need as many pieces for) and even, cant believe Im saying this, Rudy Gay. Thereve been a couple articles about how the Cavs should be watching the situation in Memphis right now as theyre in a HORRIBLE financial situation and Rudy is get unhappier and unhappier with his teammates and coaches. So most think he'll take a ridiculous offer next summer as a free agent from a team with cap space and Memphis wont be able to match it. Theyll lose him for nothing.

Right now it sounds crazy, but if they keep losing, and Rudy keeps getting in arguments with Mayo (who is their future) and other players, and Hickson and Boobie are tearing it up, Z, Hickson, Boobie, Green and a pick for Gay and a bad contract like Jaric could be an option.

I like exactly where you are going with this, but Rudy Gay has horrible BBall IQ, but I could definately see DWest or Gerald Wallace as possibilities. Maybe even Joe Johnson, yes that is my dream there. Not likely but a dream none the less.lol.

Is Ferry still rearanging the deck chairs?

If I'm Lebron, I sign with NJ next year. That's a supporting cast with a future:
Devon Harris > Mo Williams
Courtney Lee > DWest
Brook Lopez > Shaq & Z
and most importantly...
Cap Space for another Max Deal >>>>> Varajao and/or Stephen Jackson

A Shaq/Jax/LBJ combo is just too little too late. Ferry will only need to re-tool the team again next season, with or without Lebron....

Hickson had 9 pt and Gibson had 3. Not QUITE tearing it up,so I doubt that turns into David West or Gerald Wallace unless those franchises do a final going out of business sale and then fold. For West or Wallace, you want to get something established,or higher end "potential".

Personally, I didn't think that Jackson was nearly the opportunity that you make him out to be.

Jackison is a mixed bag. He has a lot of ability but unlike guys who get apathetic,he's often on adrenalin overload. A team with a strong leader and a coach who will restrain Jackson's impulsiveness can get a real boost. You snooze, you lose. Be glad the Celtics didn't get him cheap. That would have really had some impact. I'm hardly thrilled about getting Vlad who I don't like, but it's better than what the Cavs seemed willing to pay....which was pretty much nothing.
