No one there seems to play more than 30 minutes a night, and there are not a lot of ridiculous stat-stuffers. Here, the Bucks are looking to him to be a savior, and I think that's fed his confidence.

Right. The other thing is that there it matters more than college. The guys are getting paid and the players aren't on sucky colleges that no one might or might not pay attention to, they are on teams looking to really win.

he was my favorite player in the draft by far. does anyone else remember when at the NBA draft this year, this happened?:

pick #10: Brandon Jennings, who, it is announced, is not here.

...

...

...

Pick #14 is announced: The phoenix suns select, Earl Clark. (i was unsurprised by this, but then, the devil says...) the #10 pick, Brandon Jennings, (lol, at this point i am FREAKING, thinking that the suns traded for jennings... it was short lived... :( ) is here!... curse you david stern!

anyways, i am really happy for jennings.

EDIT: lol, another reason i really liked him was b/c he ditched UofA...

Sunsman44 wrote:MY QUESTION TO ALL YOU IS THIS:

How come Jennings played like crap just 6 months ago back in Europe? Yes, he only got like 14 minutes a night, but he averaged loads of turnovers and horrible field goal percentage so the coach didn't put him in.

Does this mean Euro ball is tougher, harder, and better than the NBA?

Does Jennings being good in NBA and bad in Europe mean the NBA is inferior to Euro ball?

I think the answer is yes.

I think a select group of players in the NBA have a nice, shiny, fairly nice size gold medal that says otherwise.

I didn't blame him. If I remember correctly, he didn't have the SAT score he needed. I think if Arizona had a stable coach (this was when Lute did the whole "I'm back, wait, no I'm not" thing) he would've tried again and probably gotten it. It didn't help that Bayless left, either. But I didn't hold it against him. He didn't commit to play for Russ Pennell.

He's been nice so far but let's not get caught up in the espn hype, it was vs the warriors.

I still think clark was the right pick for the suns and I'm looking forward to seeing him blossom.

Smart kid too. Bought a Ford Flex and lives in a 1 bedroom apartment. I don't think we'll be reading any "Antoine Walker" type stories about this kid.

I guess he's grown to be independent and wise with his money after spending a year abroad. Over there he isn't showered with love and praise like the players who go to college. He was a nobody over there and that probably humbled him.

ROY, period. I like to call this the D'Antoni curse. it happened in PHX and now it's happening in NY. with DA as the head coach, teams just tend to pass on future all-stars.

Quiet night for Jennings against the Mavs. Only 6 points through 3.

I watched the game - he's ridiculously fast, has no conscience at all about shooting. And he can shoot.
