Should I drop Duhon for Fernandez

Post#1 » by mappiah19 » Tue Nov 17, 2009 4:42 am

I'm in a twelve team league, and I think I am no longer becoming patient with Duhon. What the Knicks Board says about him makes me wanna drop him this second. On the contrary, Fernandez is going to be receiving a lot of playing time b/c Outlaw is expected to be out for a month and a half.

Should I do it?

Thanks 8-)

Might as well if you don't care about assists. I'm expecting Fernandez to get around 26-32 mpg. If you look at all the games in his career where he's played 26-32 minutes here is what his averages have been in those 33 games:

Code: Select all

MPG:   28.91
PPG:   12.36
FG%:   0.434
3PT%:  0.426
3PTM:   2.42
FT%:    0.88
AST:    2.09
REB:    3.33
STL:    1.00
TO:     1.30

I figure those numbers look repeatable, and the steals should definitely be more than 1 per game. Fernandez is more active on defense this year.

I'm giving heavy thought to dropping Nate Robinson for Fernandez, but I'd like to see what Nate does at full health since I'm not in need in steals (Fernandez' main advantage over Robinson), and feel like Nate will put up more PTS.

edit: Ha someone just picked up Rudy. Oh well...

Yea I'm the leader in assists in my league and I don't care much for it. I'm gonna go through with it.

Do it. I'm at the crossroads with Duhon myself.

I'm trying to see if it there is a possibility that Iverson gets signed by New York. If so, look out

This.

I'm watching the news on Iverson like a hawk in the sky. Once he signed by NY I will pick him up immediately. I'm following Stein's twitter b/c he seems to always break NBA news first.

Duhon forgot how to play basketball this season. I would easily take Fernandez over him.
