holy freaking crap.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

Man, the other day I was thinking about how much he reminded me of Allen Iverson, pretty Allen Iverson like game today.

I don't know how fair that is. I mean obviously you're going to need that many shots to get 55, but getting 55 on that many shots is still a damn good accomplishment.

55 against the Warriors is like 40-45 against the Celtics. But 40-45 against the Celtics is still damn, damn impressive.

I'm certainly not jumping on the "ROY race is over" bandwagon like some others, but this does give the race a clear leader right now.

Well lucky for Evans and the Kings, it's only game 7 for Jennings, not game 77.

rofl at Stephen Jackson:

Jackson: "I take my words back about Tyreke Evans being ROY. I think Brandon Jennings definitely has that locked up."

Brandon is on his way to being more complete than AI now and when its all said an done, he'll be far more renowned if he continues to play the game he's playing. As much as Brandon loved him and emulates elements of his game, he plays beyond AI. He just became the youngest player in NBA history to post 50+, taking over LBJ's place.

The only reason he went out and got 55 tonight was because it was a must in order to secure a win. On top of doing it, none of the shots, besides a heat check to close the 3rd quarter were forced, even that wasn't a force, like said it was more of a heat check. He knows how to pass the ball and he's eager to learn, as well as he gets in early with assistant coach Sampson to work on his game everyday.

It also wasn't just because it was GSW, he hit two back to back dagger 3's against Chauncey to beat the Nuggets, who then went on to hand the Lakers their a**es in their next game. Jennings just knows, how and when to turn it on. For that Nuggets game he posted 30/ 9 assists / 4 rebounds against the Afflalo, Billups and Lawson, that's impressive.

Tyreke is great. It's exciting that Sac got a player of his caliber and Mil a player with the caliber of Jennings.

I congradulate the Bucks on finding this diamond in the rough... exceeded everyone's expectations.

But the season's not over yet  And, honestly, I think it's premature calling Jennings AI, just as it's premature to call Tyreke whatever we're calling him today.

Exactly. I find it funny that some King's fans on these boards are discounting Jenning's production by saying its only been a few games, but viewing Evan's production as what he will do the entire season lol.

As of now, Jennings is in the lead. But we are what only 12% done with the season? Anything can happen. Maybe Thabeet starts averaging 8/12/5 starting in December

But, Jennings was a guy that I saw him play as a junior in HS and knew he was going to be something special. I've been on the Jenning's bandwagon for ages now. However, even I started to not like him for a few stupid twitter comments lol. Opps.

It's stupid to call Jennings AI because he has his own game, my mention of AI is a callout for all of those comparing him to AI, he has his own game and he'll be BETTER THAN AI when its all come to a close.

It's not foolish at all when you're a Bucks fan with insight into why the player is playing the way he is today, he works at it whenever possible, he's humble and he's only going to get better. You can feel the way you do, but you're wrong about not being able to predict where an injury-less future lies in Brandon's game.

Lol.

Is he really? Cause I know this is the reason myself and many other fans (and possibly GM's) stayed away from this kid. Right around draft time, he wasn't really the most "humble" of all players. lol

You act like comparing Jennings to AI is a slap in his face!! Not the AI of today buddy, anybody over the age of 15 probably remembers how dominating AI was on offense and how pesky on defense he was. I see A LOT of similarities between the two. If Jennings comes anywhere close to AI's level he'll be lucky. He's off to a good start thusfar.

Imagine if NYK didn't suck at drafting, and say drafted Lopez and Jennings last year and this year. That's an AMAZING pitch for Lebron.

Jennings/Lebron/Lopez = Dynasty

Good thing the only time we ever have to contend against NYK now is when we're going after Wall

The Knicks don't have a pick next year, so they won't be contending for Wall. Then again, I doubt we will be either really. I think we're going to be too good.

Sorry to say I told you so but I called Jennings the real deal AND better than Rubio but nobody wanted to listen to me.

I'm happy we have Evans, and I think he still is the best fit for this team. I just knew Jennings was the real deal.

You think Evans/Martin is a better combo than Jennings/Martin?

No...that's why I said I'm happy with who we chose. I think a team that plays good team defense can contain a guy like Jennings better than Evans. Evans effect on this basketball team is more positive on BOTH ends of the floor and he is not just a 1 (yes he is a a PG, too). Just an FYI the question you are asking about Martin is kind of irrelevant to me but I think Jennings pairs better with a dominant big and a 2 that is a Raja Bell type. Evans fits more of the Kings scoring PG type where he's isn't "the" distributor.
