Pops Mensah-Bonsu Waived by Houston

Pops was waived by Houston. Their fanbase seems to think this was done in preparation for a potential trade.

Waive Griffin, Sign Pops.

Agreed, or waive Collins and sign him.

Waive both Collins and Griffin and sign Pops for that matter. He would be Lou 2.0 for us, and is stronger so could probably be more efficient in guarding C's.

That's my thought - they're so hard up for bodies, and he fits right in with their work ethic and hustle.
There has to be something else going on

Oh, and Raja is out for the year - he's going to have wrist surgery.

Really?? I didn't hear that yet.

Not to take a page out of THe Diesel's book but was the trade made subject to physicals/will it be reversed?

If not, they may as well have waived Jackson and kept Acie Law haha

Again, the Houston fan base is just as confused and they believe a trade is in the works. I can't imagine it's a character issue.

I think it's a matter of him wanting a bigger role and a lot more playing time, so much so that it is becoming an issue with them. I don't know, just my opinion.
