This one *SHOULD* be a no-contest win for the Suns. This would have been a trap game for past D'Antoni teams, but it's getting easier to trust the Suns to win the games they're supposed to.

Prediction:

Suns 122
Hornets 97

It is a TNT game, though, so that adds a big wrinkle. But, the Suns should still take care of business on Thursday.

This game should be a easy. The reason they got were "close" last game was because Paul kept them "in the game." Otherwise it would've been an even bigger blowout.

Well the Chris Paul-less Hornets beat the Clippers last night, which isn't saying much.
I don't want to say it will be an easy win, but the only way the Suns lose is if they beat themselves. The Hornets simply aren't talented enough to stay with this hot Phoenix Suns team.
I'mma say Suns-118 Hornets-100.

Suns-137
Hornets-86

Emeka is blocked 8 times by Suns players.
Peja goes 0-9.
Nash gets 20-20 again.
Leandro helps up an opposing player, grinning ear to ear.

expect a triple crap job from Barkley if the Suns aren't killing at the half, and even if they are he'll say it doesn't matter cause they are playing a bunch of Tito Jacksons, with some Laker game references obviously (ignoring that it was the 4th game in 5)

Barkley just doesn't want the Suns to win a championship. Period. You know, since he couldn't bring Phoenix one.

Even though their without Paul they still played well last night, looking at the boxscore before I think they shot over 50% from the field. Suns should win this one, just don't allow guys like Peja, Posey, etc to go off from 3's.

Yes, TNT game. Never goes well for Phoenix. They are what, like 0-20 or 0-15 on TNT nights according to Coro article....But Suns SHOULD win on paper. Hope they do.

Anyways, nice game thread.

But hey - let me make the game thread on Jan 6 versus Rockets. OK?

The season is more then 1/7th the way through and:

- Suns are #1 in the league

- Nash is #1 in the MVP race

- Channing Frye is #2 in MIP race

- Amar'e is getting in better shape every game

- Barbosa (wrist injury) and Earl Clark have no where to go but up

EVERYONE NEEDS TO CONSTANTLY KNOCK ON WOOD. I was knocking on wood during this whole post as not to jinx things.

Hornets should be an easy win at this point. **knocks on wood**
