Re: Browns claim Jake Allen
I honestly wonder why they have receivers on the roster.
Watching them play the 2 games against decent teams they were kinda in, Minnesota and Baltimore, I watched Eric Mangini call bubble screen after bubble screen and runs on 1st and 2nd down the entire 2nd half when down 14 or 10 or whatever workable margin they were down.
Yeah, maybe Quinn/Anderson aren't very good at getting the ball down the field but he has to have the dumbest gameplan I've seen out of a coach in many years.
Now I've raised 2 other questions for myself:
1. How terrible have the Bellichick coordinators been? Crennel, Mangini, Weis, McDaniels(has been decent thus far).
2. Does Mangini have money on his team or possibly the other team? Has this strategy been to hold the under in a game or to stay above the spread by just draining the clock and playing to lose by 17 instead of 30? Or is he trying to put his offense in such a bad position to score points that they get blown out.
Who cares if Brady Quinn throws 30 INTS. Let them put the ball down the field or you're going to average less than 10 points a game as they are. 5 offensive TDs thus far. Yikes.

Dangit GJ, don't put actual good ideas like this in Mangini's head. All season I've been starting whatever opposing defenses have played the Browns in my fantasy football league and have made a KILLING. I actually have SD and CIN def. on my bench right now because they're playing CLE weeks 12/13.

I don't remember ever seeing a more inept offense than the Browns of this season
That's what they get though for giving Mangini the head coach and GM roles
