that would be my assessment - that roster is pretty bad all around. Some decent guys but just not enough for this league.You'd have to put it down to a massive tank-job but they have no pick this year unless they buy one.

It's just really too bad they passed on Jennings. A young core of Brandon Jennings, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, and David Lee, plus a potent free agent next summer? That would have been promising. Instead, drafting Jordan Hill makes them have to potentially choose between Lee and Hill: one guy who's hit his ceiling already and another who may be a bust, but may be solid, and now have to worry about finding a good point guard as well.

I do think Toney Douglas was a great pick.

As you say, that would have been a real nice young core, and one that could grow up in the D'ant system. poor NY fans ...
