whew we are bad at rebounding right now...
that should be expected, we're missing our starting center and former starting pf afterall.

I know but wow it is really bad. I cant believe no one is on here bitching about the cavs? This is usually the time i log on and people are complaining we are the worst team in the nba.

also, just shot over to the wizards forum and saw this comment "OMG with Z coming out, now would be a great chance to use McGee, they would have no match-up for him." They are referring to Javelle McGee of course...who is awful...

also, if we are only down 5 when lebron comes back in, I count that as a moral victory

Nothing going right for the Cavs, everything going in for the Wiz. It is what it is. Hopefully we can steal this one yet, but it doesn't seem likely the way the Cavs are playing tonight. Yuck.

We need a miracle from now on.

I'd say our chances are slim.

eh, I think most people realized that there was a good chance the Cavs wouldn't play well (second game of a b2b, missing two key frontcourt players) and sorta expected a loss.

It's obviously really frustrating...but meh, a single loss is just that, one number added to the loss column. Not a big deal.

I agree. Not to be that guy but how do we have 26 fouls and they have 13? this is just a bad all around game, dont know how it turned so quick, just everyone on the wizards got hot and everyone on the cavs got cold I guess.

Cavs fans should be more concerned with how the team bounces back from this than the loss itself. Every team has its bad games, especially when going through injuries -- how they recover from it is what matters.

good game guys, we finally had the more healthy team.

exact opposite from last time with each team taking a huge lead.

According to Windy the wrist has been bothering him for a couple weeks and he apparently hurt it again. Knowing that makes him going for monstrous dunks at the end of blowouts just a tad frustrating....

No chicken littles??? Great, finally some fans here are learning to understand that this stuff happens, specially with a team with injuries and without much time playing together...

Well see how we bounce back... not expecting much either... but it would be nice if we can win vs Indy...

He might have to play if we are still down as many people as we are. Our bench consisted of a bunch of injured guys. It was good to see moon score a bit so if lebron does sit, moon might at least be able to get a little going. If Mo can shoot the ball at all we might be alright.

I think he will probably sit one of the next 2 games and then he will have 3 days to rest before our game at detroit on thursday. At least indiana is not looking like anything close to world beaters right now so we might be able to get by without him. I mean the knicks beat them after being down like 20 at halftime.

Doesn't this actually legitimize the concerns that people had after the last game though? I don't call it being a chicken little so much as understanding of trends.

What trends? We are extremely thin in the fromtcourt since Shaq and AV are out. It's understandable Haywood ate us alive on the boards because Hickson and old man Z can't bang with Haywood. When compared to the game against the Warriors, we shot terribly as a whole (especially Mo and Delonte). I'll blame that on a back to back. I honestly didn't feel like we were gonna beat Wash, in their home, and while missing key players.

The only trend occuring is that MB is a horrible coach.

The Cavs have rebounded badly all season, this is not a one game thing. LeBrons rebounding numbers are down as well. Are defense has been poor the majority of the season as well. The last few games the Cavs have been kinda lackadaisical as far as ball security and against a team that lives off of running on fast breaks that hurt alot against Washington. Those are all legitimate trends that have been pointed out even in winning games.

I can't look it up at the moment but can someone please tell me what our defense and rebounding standings are so far 12 games into an 82 game season?

We are not going to have the same regular season success that we had last season. Frankly, I don't want us to be the same 66 win team that got crushed by the other elite teams. So I'll take a worst regular season record if it means we can get passed the elites when it counts.

According to http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CLE/2010.html, we are 12th in defense and 13th in offense. Last season we ended up 3rd in defense and 4th in offense.

I agree with you about beating the elite teams and having a worse regular season but only the hawks have 3 losses in the east right now so its not like everyone else is world beaters either.
