we are playing for now at all costs. what do we have to lose?

At this point I hope we tank the season and give ourselves a shot at a #1 pick. We're obviously not going to do it the ol' cap space way. TANK TANK TANK!

I bet even SLAM will want to tank at this point. I can't take anymore losing seasons of crap quality basketball. I want new players. TANK!

Up by 3 with under 2 minutes. We choked. Just a bad choke job.

add lou williams to the long list of points guards who are better than our two LOTTERY picked point guards.

LB looks like he hasnt slept in weeks. he must be disgusted by our turnovers, too many 3s, and our awful pg play.

well, you know it will never happen with LB as the coach. so if you want to tank, then you have to fire LB first.

If we had a FO with half a brain between them we wouldn't have to tank.

And no, I will never, ever co-sign taking.

Ever.

In the history of ever.

I would like to see DJ, Hendo, UPS and Lexy get a heck of a lot more burn though.

Hey, don't feel so bad your team came to play and gave us a good push. Wallace ain't an AS and certainly hasn't played like himself for a while, but he's giving you all the little things. Diaw's not gonna hurt you and Jackson was very, very good.

Problem is: You've got nice players, but no shooting. No shooting or post presense. A Similar problem to us.

And unfortunately, like us also with some contract difficulty.

Build for 2011, well it's a little too late with Jackson's contract but you got nice pieces. I'm sure it can turn around.

Fair assessment. But I am not so sure I see a picture for us as rosey as you paint it.

Our three centers combined don't average a double-double.

OK, I lied. They make it by 1 point and .3 rebounds per game. $25 million well invested. :)

Guys, I didn't see the game or hear it on NBA Access (just got home), so I can only respond to your comments and the box score.

The PG's are total trash. I understand some of you not wanting to give up on DJ, but he sounds totally lost out there. If he's regressed this much into his 2nd season, I can't imagine he suddenly gets defense and distribution skills and becomes a monster. Felton is not good, but it sounds like he's pressing big time. Even at his very best he's merely average, but when he's trying too hard he chokes down into a total lump.

Wallace said he's not confident in his shot, and clearly he's just off the radar completely. He's doing everything he can to battle, but he's hurting the team on that side of the ball.

Perhaps the best option would be finding one more trade that sets us up for both now and the future. Find a team willing to trade for Wallace and DJ, and give us a scoring SG and reserve PF (hopefully with short contracts). Without another move we are getting boxed into a corner of no return. Bonnell said the Cats are betting big time on Jackson. I think it's a better bet than on any of our current players.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

At one point Raymond airballed a wide open three. It was at that point I turned the game off. Missed the "comeback".

I love that a handful into his 2nd season and after having an impressive rookie season you are done with him.

Slam, as you know I've never been a big DJ supporter. I recognize that he has some skills, and he used to have confidence in his shot. It seems when he can play and up and down fast paced game, similar to college fast break BB, he performs best. But he was never a good passing PG, and doesn''t seem to be able to grasp that at the NBA level. His defense continues to be poor, and that never improved last year. Between those issues and his overall lack of physicality, I just don't see a future for him here. He certainly doesn't work within this offense. He'd do better with a team like the Knicks or Warriors.

I think LB should make Felton inactive for a game and see what that does to him. It could shake some sense into him or encourage him to accept a trade. Something has to give because he's clearly over thinking everything out there.

I don't really blame him for the 2nd to last play. I really hate the 1 4 unless the 1 is going to take it to the rim and either get fouled or make the bucket. If you miss, you are just asking for the other team to fast break on you, which is exactly what happened.

A lot of people have been against trading for Brand, even in deals that include Diop, Mohammed, and TC, since presumably he's done. Judging by the boxscore (as I wasn't able to see the game), he went to work on us.

...he was a hailed as a pass first pg coming out of college and drew comparisons to Steve Nash, who he said he molded his game after. He hasn't done that at this level, but to say he was never a good passing pg is not true.
