Lions up 13-0 on the Bears. Lions win and we lose tomorrow night, tied for 1st.

Can't believe I'm actually "rooting" for the Bears to win.

I had just said how much I liked Washington's strategy of pounding the ball, going with the safe passes, taking time off the clock, etc...

Next play was a halfback pass (incomplete), deep pass that was nearly picked and then a long out across the field. Great work guys...

Sucks that the lions won, and if we lose were tied for first with the lions. BUT it is always nice to see the bears lose. I believe the percentages about 2% for them to make the playoffs now. We just got to do our part tonight in Denver, and things are fine with Detroit. BIG game tonight.

I'm not worried about the Lions at all - at least beating the Bears. We play the Lions twice and we need to take care of business with them - it is 2 game swing.

The Lions play their final nine games against teams with a combined record of 38-23. They've played the easiest part of their schedule already. They still have to play the Giants, Cowboys, Chargers and us twice.

We've already played the toughest part of our schedule and the remaining ten games are against a combined 34-37.

If we can't end this season with a better record than Detroit, having a one game lead heading into the schedules we each face, we don't deserve to win the division. I'd be very surprised it the Lions ended up 10-6 or better.
