Great game you def were the better team, dont get too hype on your guys tho, we might make history for how bad we are defensively, literally lol. Loved Maynor tho, good luck this season.

Yeah, there was a lot of "hope you miss!" defense tonight. But there were a few times where guys switched smartly when the ball was swung to the weak side, going to the better shooter and leaving the worse shooter open. Not sure if it was intentional, but it looked smart.

I had a great time at the ESA tonight. It was so empty though...sheesh. The crowd didnt get into it till the 4th.

Ive been saying sine day one that Eric Maynor was a great pick for the Jazz. In time with him finding his consistency with his O game and understand how to run a team, add some muscle and get better at D he is gonna be a beast. I love him and D-will playing together. Maynor is already better then Price at his best.

The DW-Maynor backcourt worked well against Toronto, but I wouldn't fall in love with it. It might work in SA though, they don't have a high scoring 2 either.

I really liked the Maynor/Deron duo. It allows Deron to take some nights off which I talked about being so important a few weeks ago.

Definitely a good draft pick, way better than Price.

Maynor is showing exactly what he did in college that I loved about him so much.

He plays at his own speed, he isn't the quickest player on the floor but he gets to where he needs to be, he consistently makes big buckets, and he is always under control.

It seems like he has grown up installing windows all his life, like he just has a passion to use the glass, possessing artisan-level skill. It is fun to watch him bank in floaters over the trees underneath. :D

Is it just me or is Maynor a little bigger than the start of the year?

The only thing that worried me about Maynor last night was his outside shot. All 3 outside shots he took didn't even hit the rim. If he improves his outside shot and gets stronger, he'll be crazy good.

He's normally been making those, I think he had an off night, but he does need to be more consistent.

It's funny how no team in NBA scout AK. All you need to do is let him finish. Do not touch him, just let him miss his layup or try to steal from his god awful dribbling. Oh, he is so bad on offence sometimes...

20 points is bad offense? Sure he missed a few lay-ups but honestly who doesn't miss some lay-ups sometime during the season. AK has been great on the offensive end so far this year. He is shooting the 3 ball, his mid range jumper has improved, he is finishing better and he is creating open shots for the team.

He is bad at finishing. The good news for him is that there are not a lot of good defenders in the league in this days.
