Rather than turn this in to another debate on the merits on NET PER, which is your PER minus
the PER of the man you are guarding, I simply am posting the Celtic NET PERs thru 12 games:

+7.2 Paul Pierce (+6.2 last year, the weight loss might be responsible)
+5.5 Rajon Rondo (+5.7 last year)
+5.3 Shelden Williams (career year)
+5.2 Ray Allen (the guy does play D, despite not getting credit for it)
+4.8 Kevin Garnett (was +14 to +20 for 10 years)
+4.1 Kendrick Perkins (Major Improvement)
+3.5 Eddie House (+3.9 last year)
+3.0 Marquis Daniels

+1.0 Brian Scalabrine (surprise, career best)
-0.9 Rasheed Wallace

-4.2 Justin Giddens
-7.0 Lester Hudson
-96.8 Billy "Sky"Walker

Glen Davis may not see much time when he comes back, unless the team is in real trouble
and needs Davis' fast hands in a crowd and sometimes reliable outside jumper.

PP being tops is not surprising.

He's been our best player at both ends of the floor. I'm particularly impressed with his defense...he's staying in front of his man, challenging shots, and taking charges...with the exception of Indiana game in which he was hampered by an injury he has been stellar defensively.

We need higher individual defensive efforts like this to string some long win streaks together.....

One place you can "kind of" see it is 82 games

But they show it for every position played and don't summarize it.

Look at the individual player info.

They also have prior years for 4 or 5 years.

What people don't realize is that the Celtics have played excellent this year,
but in the 3 games they lost,
Phoenix shot nearly 60% and didn't turn the ball over;
Atlanta shot great, over 50%, and like Phoenix, didn't turn the ball over;
Indiana was 9-18 from 3 point land with 10 turnovers

They played well but we didn't help matters by leaving them open.

If we allow teams to score close to 100ppg then chances are we might lose.
