I don't want the Braves to get rid of him, but what do you think his value is in today's market?

Well it looks like the Braves are gonna give Salty a nice 22nd birthday present today, and let him play in his 1st major league game. I think its a little early to call him up but oh well. Maybe they might be showcasing him for other teams. A trade that I've head a good amount on the sites I visit too often is Baldelli for Salty.

Anybody think the Tigers might be interested in him as a replacement for Rodriguez?

He's playing tonight because both of our catchers got injured last night.

I know this, but you still have a AAA team for a reason. Granted Corky Miller isn't good or anything but I hate when teams bring up top prospects with the plan to send them back down.

I'd love him on the sox...Tek and Mirabelli aren't getting younger
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

Uh... why?

Milton is a 5 tool player, has health issues, but who do you expect to land for this guy? A star? Swisher?

If you want to overvalue him, he has to play more at a higher level.... he's far from a cant-miss prospect...

I will stop over-valuing him the second you do so with Bradley. He does have talent, but he might pull an Artest. Atlanta has no need for a headcase. Atlanta has always done a great job of bring up young talent and keeping the ones we need. I think they find a place for Jeff.

Bradley's been nothing short of a model citizen here... I think in clubhouses where there is an elder statesman of sorts, Milton responds to that. In Cleveland, there were no old vets that were reeling him in... in LA, Jeff Kent (whos a jerk in his own right) made some racial comments... but w/e.

I'm not overvaluing Bradley at all - a 5 tool player in the MLB, oft injured or not, is worth something - hell he was worth Andre Ethier at the time. And Jarrod isn't at the level Ethier was, yet.

I see where you are coming from. I dont think i am saying he is worth an all-star yet. He has alot to prove, but Good players are traded for prospects all the time. I just feel that Atlatna is better off with-out Milton

For Harden? Doesnt make sense for us, C is the position we have the most prospects in... we have Suzuki, Closser, and Jeremy Brown waiting in the wings....

I'd bet thats just fodder.

I don't think we'll get rid of him this year anyway - we need to see if we can resign Andruw first.
