Going Negative...

Post#1 » by DubaLakers » Fri Nov 20, 2009 6:18 pm

Who is the worst player on the LAL?

Sasha Vujacic OR Adam Morrison?

It's a perplexing question isn't it?

One tries and one doesn't. One runs thru the offense taking good shots many times without success, and the other shoots arbitrarily like a broken sprinkler.

One was up for player of the year with JJ Redick, the other was player of the year when he pulled Maria Sharipova out of his a$$. " Damn' I didn't know he was into women, here's your $5 Deep, good guess." "Wait, hold that five Deep, doesn't that make Sasha a lesbian ? "

Here's last nights CHI/LAL stats both players played 4:34. Sasha 0-3 all wide open from 3, that's it, no other stats categories. Adam 1-2, 3 Rebounds, 2 points (on a nice cut running thru the offense, asst JFar). Sasha was either moping from 0-3, or completely uninterested because it was in garbage minutes.

Sasha has ball skills Adam doesn't have, but at least Adam tries and wants to succeed. Alexa needs to get his ass kicked by Pau his best buddy on the team, that could change Alexa's attitude real fast. Since Pau is resting his hammy he has the pull to tell DJ to "Do work or her !" The saddest part of all is we are stuck with her for next season as well. BTW DJ made a sweet baseline 15 footer, so DJ is not only a better player than Sasha, but he was also draining 15 footers unlike Sasha.

OT: If Kobe keeps this up, he's gonna get another MVP, just getting so sick with that left handed game. I wonder if the MVP matters that much to him anymore. I'm sure it does a little, but he sees the big picture like no other. TJ Housyamomma...Championship!

I think vujacic is the worst player in the league all he does is chuck 3 pointers and pick up unnessesary quick fouls

there isn't a single thing ammo does better than sasha.

Sasha has ball skills Adam doesn't have, but at least Adam tries and wants to succeed.

don't agree with that at all. how does sasha not try? he tries too hard. ammo on the other hand, i don't think i've ever seen him try anything. he's like a deer in the headlights out there.

Sasha tries to what dcash miss? It looks like he doesn't even practice, that's how bad his shot is. Remember that game at Sacto where he had a sick dunk on someone, he's like I got mad they were calling me names something lame like that. I said to myself that's what it takes to get you to go to the basket when your shot isn't falling?

Because Sasha is versatile I'd take Sasha over Morrison if I had to decide, but damn' Sasha isn't doing the Lakers any favors with his gameplay.

Yeah, actually I think if Adam hustled and was aggressive like Sasha he'd do more for us, but Ammo seems to lack the hungry dog.

Sasha sometimes, but these days rarely, does alot of things well and tries hard out there. The reality this year is Sasha and Ammo both suck. I sit here praying either Sasha starts doing what he's trying to do well and remembers he can drive, or that ammo goes mad dog and demands the ball and starts draining all those open shots his teammates don't think to let him touch.

Sasha's biggest critics, were probably those who were his biggest cheerleaders 2 seasons ago, sweating bullets if we signed Turiaf over him.

Bottom line is, Morrison is interested. He just has no personality for us to recognize it.

And Sasha is a shooter. I've seen greater shooters go in funks. Sure, it's kinda been a consistent funk for over 100 games now, and he even got cut from his own countries team this summer... but it IS something he can get over. His energy is too rabid not to.

Besides, why complain? We're winning most of our games and neither are really playing. It's not like they're depended on in our rotation. These guys probably will be in suits next April, sitting in the 2nd row with Kareem.

Sasha thinks that he is better than what he is. He thinks he is a all-star. He's not. Study tapes of Steve Kerr and BJ Armstrong.

AMMO is far worse than Sasha, Sasha actually could be really good but he needs 4 or 5 years of experience starting on an awful team. He can shoot with he best of them, he has pesky D and he is 6-7.

Unfortunately he didnt get drafted in a position where he could improve. Sasha is a great practice player.

Who's worst? I can't tell. Sasha was a dependable 3 pt shooter at one time. Then he got a contract and somehow shoots like pure crap now. His defense is "pesky" but nowhere near good. I just want him to annoy people with his defense but not foul and shoot better. I'm not asking him to match his career season but to be in the vincinity...

As for Ammo, who knows? I thought the kid had decent offensive skill in college even though it was against smaller/less skilled guys. He wasn't scared to shoot and he had moves. You'd think he at least be able to knock down some shots in the nba. Now he just doesn't get the minutes and when he does he seems like he's just trying to get the game over with. I'm guessing he doesn't show much promise in practice either. The guy looks dead inside and I'll be surprised if he stays in the nba.
