I'm gonna be real, no bull, on a team of veterans, like say a team that had grant hill and jason kidd, LOL, he'd drop about 25 a night.just on the sheer waterness of his jumpshot.

In terms of the Cavs, which player besides Lebron would you actually take over Gallo? The only possible option is Mo Williams and i ask you...

would you take a 27 year old PG that averages 18 PPG 4 APG and 0.8 SPG in his 7nth season
or
would you take a 21 year old PF that averages 16 PPG 6 RPG and 0.7 BPG in his 2nd season

They both take the same number of shots and almost have identical shooting %

Exactly right. Gallo is head & shoulders ahead of Mo Williams in terms of long-term value.

It's a shame Gallo only gets 11 shots a game. on a game like yesterday that he just couldnt miss, they only gave him 10 shots... Mike D gotta do something about that quick

Mike D doesn't care, he just wants to kiss a$$ of the veterans. He's not very smart.

E. Curry is back - which one of you loyal Knicks fans will pick him up first? :)

I picked up Eddy last week. I didn't play him but he outplayed Dalembert and Gallinari.

OT: Fantasy BBAL Trade : Lee for Mo Will

Post#227 » by bennnnnooo » Thu Nov 19, 2009 8:02 pm

Need assists and 3's...
My guards are Wade, Ben Gordon, Aaron Brooks, OJ.
Bigs are Josh Smith, Al Jeff, Emeka, Brand

Also got offered Calderon for Lee straight up but I kind of like Mo Will better.

I just picked up Iverson off waiver. After the debacle in Memphis and Detriot, coaches know that they can't limit AI's minute or shot attempts. If the Knicks decide to pick him up, that means they're going to guarantee him a starting spot and 20+ shots every night.

Did the exact same thing but fortunately I was able get back Ty Lawson as soon as I heard the Knicks will pass on AI.

I just dropped JWill. Hopefully you can last holding onto all of those injured guards.

Yes, guards = US economy this year. In many leagues, people chose CP3 over LBJ at #1 pick. I mean, it's not a bad pick but LBJ give you enough assist ;s.

Guards are so bad this year, I am still not able to drop Duhon or Sessions - nobody else to pick up.

Fat Kat, why would you drop J-Will? I mean, unless you picked up something better. J-Will is currently the starting guard for Magic and Nelson wont be back soon.

He dropped him for McGrady.

JWill sucked and starting hasn't changed that. Since Nelson went down, he's averaging 9pts. and 4.7 asst. Not good enough to offset his 40% shooting. Maybe he'll bounce back but he is who he is.

The McGrady situation is puzzling. This is what he said yesterday.

Hey everyone

I want to keep everyone posted on what’s happening, so here it goes. It’s looking as if I may be back on the court this week. I know there were reports going around that there were issues with me and the coach but there isn’t. Together, we are looking at the best scenario on when my return should be, and we are hopeful it will be this week. The team is playing great together and getting me back out there is a decision my coach, doctors and general manager will help make.

The team obviously would rather collect on the insurance money rather than have him disrupt team chemistry. I'll probably drop him today. I'll have to see what's out there.
