Not only did I sit Harden (24 points, 6 3s...100% FT...yeah, we'd be talking 4-5 instead of 2-7), but to make matters worse, a big goose egg from Landry and a DNP from Luc Richard Mbah a Moute! They were playing like top 50 guys. What are the ODDS!!!

Pretty good; since they are not top 50 guys.

Well, they're not waiver duds either. Even a top 125 performance would have kept me at 4-5 or 5-4.

All the same, I'm not conceding anything to Coady just yet. That's right, you won't be getting a concessionary phone call from me bucko! The only category you have wrapped up right now is steals. FG% could very easily go my way. Points will probably be yours, but from there, I'm within striking distance my friend. WITH IN STRI KING DIS TANCE

Wilson Chandler is one of the most infuriating players to watch IRL. So passive and wimpy.

You're right. Only his new owner has the gumption to whip him into shape.

The blocks have officially been busted.

It's pretty fair I guess, although I still don't 100% buy Ariza. I think both Carl and Skai have a lot to be pleased about with this deal.

Skai might get more overall value out of this if Ariza keeps performing the rest of the season and beyond. Something didn't add up with him for me. He's talented but it's still like he doesn't know how to play. Jonny Flynn is a nice little player but the Minnesota backcourt is only going to get more crowded. I paid for quality and for durability and consistency in this one. Iguodala is immediately one of my top players and I think I can defend on him to replace GInobili's role long term.

Yes, I hope Ariza remains a staple in the Rockets offense -- and I anticipate he will especially judging by the Rockets Management's lack of faith in Tracy McGrady.

Flynn is in a crowded backcourt, but it says a lot of McHale's trust in him that he's starting over a more seasoned Ramon Sessions. He'll only get better.

Sad to see Iguodala go, but I absolutely need more depth and youth on my team. I must turn this team around.

By the way, Tim Duncan, Hedo Turkoglu and Emeka Okafor are all available for young players. I'd like productive, young players in return. No waiver fodder, please.

Just nice to see a trade!

I think both teams win. Skai is building for the future and two young guys in Ariza and Flynn will help. He trades away Iguodala, who fits nicely with Carl's core group of guys.

Train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, be true to yourself, be true to your country and hit your free throws.

I think I'd vomit if I won 6-3, or god forbid 5-4.

Coady, I think 8-1 is still a possibility.

Odds are in my favor my friend...5-4 it very well could be. It would be 5-4 now if I had played Harden and his 6 3s earlier this week.

But you didn't.

It would be 7-2 if two of my career 80%+ free throw shooters weren't shooting in the 20s.

So, another blockbuster deal. Definitely not the deals that I wanted, but it's entirely my fault for leaving those trades on the table...even after the guys I offered actually started playing well. oh well, live and learn...again.

In other news: Coady, my guys aren't letting you out of this one with anything better than 5-4 win. We have 4-5 postered all over our locker room, and the assistant coach is making that Rick Moranis speech from some lame disney sports movie about winning "just once" no matter how big the other team is. Yeah, we're fired up!

My first winning streak since early 2007. Oh how I miss the day when I was 20+ games above .500

Brian, I know you proposed them a long time ago, but why did you make those trades? Hibbert is just coming into his own, and I am very enamored about Harden's Roy-esque fantasy potential. Don't discount Nate either. Hedo and TD no longer have the upside and are both on the wrong side of 30.

Good showing to pinch what looks like four cats against Coady.
