Your Atlanta Hawks are favored to win by 7 points.

the Hawks officially have the best record in the NBA after the Hornets beat the Suns.

^ i guess this means we get home court advantage in the finals

this season has been exciting, but we should all just take it one game at a time and worry about the eastern conference standings in april.

Rockets are filled with a bunch of no name guys and overachievers and because of that, they deserve alot of respect.

Al and Josh have been dominating, but Scola and Landry get the job done. both guys are not big, but Al and Josh need to show these two guys alot of respect, because if they don't, the Rockets could really surprise the Hawks

Marvin has really been struggling, but i hope that he can use this game to show that if his offense is not working, then he can make up for it with his defense on Ariza.

I want to see Josh Smith and Al Horford do this to David Andersen.

I wanna see the Battier/Ariza matcup with JJ. Maybe the Hawks can use that "wall" so Brooks won't get to the hoop so easily.

Umm... we aren't in uniform. It is the players responsibility to take things one game at a time, not the fans. It isn't like Hawks fans have had a lot to celebrate over this past decade. I say enjoy being number 1 while it lasts.

Out of the home stand this one scares me the most, Houston is an all out hustle team with quick guards. Hawks really have to pay attention to detail or it could be an L. I think the energy will be high but we will need more than that, Marvin has to do a job defensively at least and Josh & Horf have to win the paint like they''ve been doing all year. A score doesn't come to me, i just figure this one will be single digits with the Hawks making the best moves in the end.

Horribly weak crowd for a Friday.

The other early observation is that we've got a challenge on the defensive glass because of the long bounces off their jumpers.

Marvin has finally decided to join the 2009-2010 season.

Why does JJ get off to so many slow starts?

They are getting too many easy baskets underneath. Glad to see Marvin finally come out of his coma though.

Josh Smith is a beast. I'm glad to see that he finally realized he isn't a 3 pt threat.

Battier is making Joe work hard for his points. I appreciated Houston trying so hard to get Andersen on track. If they had kept with it we'd be up double-digits.

The Hawks need to do a better job of boxing out.

Way too many minutes for Zaza tonight. He has 3 unforced turnovers where he wasn't even touching the ball.

I wasn't a fan of that quarter. Dumb turnovers and bad defensive rebounding are tough to watch.

Is offensive goaltending something that can be reviewed under the new rules? If Landry hadn't grabbed the net there is no way he makes that dunk.

How did the refs miss that blatant basket interferance on Landry?
