Only on the Bobcats can you have 2 lottery picked PGs and an LLE guy comes in and takes the starting gig.

fatlever wrote:seriously thought... is it just me or does it seem that felton has lost his ability to get into the paint at will. he is really struggling to beat his man off the dribble this year. he starts to drive, realizes he cant beat his man and then he passes out to someone at the 3pt line.

I'm not sure what happened, but him and DJ are having a competition to see who can look less confident. Felton can't even make a damn FT let alone that wide open 3 he DIDN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO HITTING.

And yes, he can't penetrate anymore but I feel like part of that is the fact that nobody really sets decent picks and we clog the paint. Remember the good ol' days when Okafor and Felton would play pick and roll. One of them would get to the basket and good things would happen. I specifically remember the Lakers not being able to stop it.

People want to look at his stats and +/- or whatever but I really think most of us underestimate what Okafor brought to this team in terms of the other positions.

Why? So we can be the 10th worst team in the NBA instead of the 3rd?

I was just about to say Okafor made our point guards look good, just like Paul made Chandler look good.

On the bright side we've been playing pretty good free throw defense on Jennings.

We obviously operate better when the guy dominating the ball is able to get off good looks. Iverson starts, Flip gets minutes and Felton plays the defensive stopper role when necessary.

Man, we are playing worse so far this season than any of us feared. We are really not very good at all. Very depressing.

Jack has been out best player by far, but it just highlights the fact on how pointless that trade was.
We still suck, we are still going to lose, its not going to help in the long run.

Man, going into the 08-09 season, all we needed was a legitimate starting power forward to be a playoff team. Now, this roster is unrecognizable and we aren't in good position for the future.

With that said, we traded for Jackson to make the playoffs. So we better do that now. Bring Iverson in and trade for Carlos Boozer. If we can't get him, then Brand.

I said from the preseason, I thought we would suck this season and that if we do the team should be blown up. Our tradable assets are Wallace, Diaw, and DJ. Ship 'em off for picks and add on big contracts for expirings or something. Maybe Bob Johnson will sell the team by the time we can use the picks/space and get something worth while.

In half a game of basketball our punce guard duo has a grand total of 2 assists......

My left nut could record more assists in half a game even without the help of my right nut...

Why do we settle for 3s so quickly? Is no one willing to work on offense?
