It’s obvious Chauncey is getting old he can’t finish around the rim anymore… we must take ball handling duty off Billups.

What is not lost with age is shooting… so he has to play off the ball more. We need to have someone else who handles the ball more than him, so he becomes secondary, instead of primary. His age is showing when he’s the primary ball handler… but as a secondary with the role to shoot the ball, he will be rejuvenated.

In other words, we need Ty Lawson to start at PG or J.R. at SG alongside Billups… they’re to be the primary ball handler… I don't care if we keep starting Afflalo (my preference for his defense actually) and keep passing around but the main thing here is we must give Billups less ball handling and decision making responsibilities.

Wash it off in the shower, got a game tomorrow in Denver vs. Bulls, gotta take care of business.

Anybody know why Birdman didn't play? Is he hurt?

Yes, day-to-day.

No shows from a lot of players today. Malik Allen should not go into the game unless it's garbage time. He had -18 in 7 minutes. At least play Balkman, GK. Another big game from Melo, but when the rest of the team (excluding Nene and Ty) can't hit ****, it's hard to win. :sigh:

Even missing those shots, there just was no energy. DeAndre Jordan dunks 3 times and suddenly we're distracted by officiating and forget to take care of the ball. I think at two points of the game two different nuggets fell on their face on the floor......where's the poise? We leave Malik in there too long for this situation...ok....then Ty shows us in the second half that pure speed will beat these guys and what do we do for the final 5 minutes.....let Chauncey snail it out all over the court.

When any player finds a weakness in the other team's attack and we don't exploit it that's our loss.

We came close within 2 points, GK should have kept the unit longer. I do not know what is bothering Chauncy but what i know is Kidd still doing decent job at age 36 and he is white so i don't think it is the age yet with Billups.

Man Ty is one speedy cat.

Let's hope we bounce back on Chicago game like the last time. After the way the guys performed against LAL it is hard to believe!!!

Well, I don't look at Chauncey as a speed demon, so when his shot is not falling and he is not crafty enough out on the floor he's average.

I did notice he got 7 assists, but this is the type of game where he maybe should have 11-14 assists with his caliber of playing. When he is inserted to finish off the final 5 minutes after a run by whatever backup squad I expect him to notice what was effective during that run and to continue to exploit it. Otherwise, just let the successful crew keep playing until we have a lead.
