Makes sense, At this point he is behind both Hudson and Giddens.

That's too bad, Giddens hasn't been exactly blowing my socks off. May make for a good brewery trip up to portland; couple beers, lobsters, Bill Walker, call it a day.

Well, he has been hurt, so probably a way to get him back into game shape as opposed to sitting on the end of the Boston bench.

I am always up for a good Brewery tour. Which beer companies are out of portland that offer a brewery tour?

Nice! I'm going to every home game seeing as I'm about 20-30 minutes away from the Expo.

Not sure if they have a tour, but Gritty McDuff's is a great brew pub. Also, Shipyard is in the area as well. The Old Port is a great place to play.

Good to know, I will have to make a point to hit up a Red Claws game this year. I have a lot of free time this winter. One of the benefits of being unemployed.

Gosh this makes me realize. Other than obviously Big Baby, none of our draft picks have done very well. We're a deep team and a veteran team and I know that we don't have much room for these rookies, but is there a problem with our scouting? Are Walker, Hudson, and Giddens ever going to have real futures in the NBA?

Well, they are all second rounders (Giddens is technically a first only in positioning). They used all their good picks to get Ray Allen and KG, and we did not have a first this year. Nothing wrong with our scouting.

He needs to get his legs under him before he can play in the NBA.

Last time I was in Portland a couple weeks ago I stopped in shipyard's shop to pick up a sweatshirt and a couple cases of their pumkin beer, didn't see if they had a tour though. I believe Allagash is in Portland as well.

If you're into the whole beer thing though, check out a place called Novare res beer cafe, awesome spot. No idea where it is in relation to the court though.

Great news! I hope he stays for a while, as i was hoping to get a "name" player here to watch (Expo is 15 minutes away from me). I'll be trying to go to all 24 home games if possible.

What I've seen from Hudson has been outstanding relative to his draft position. I thought it would have been nice for Doc to put him in last night's game when our other points were stinking up the joint. I think you're being a bit premature, although at this point I haven't seen a thing from Giddens offensively.
