The Arizona Republic is reporting that Charles Barkley told police he was in a hurry to go have sex when he was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of DUI. The Republic quotes a police report that says Barkley made the comment while being processed by police in Phoenix area. "I was going to drive around the corner and get" sex from a female passenger he had just picked up, the report quotes Barkley as saying. The report also says Barkley told a civilian employee at the processing center that "I'll tattoo your name on my a**" if it would get him out of the arrest, the police report says.
True Story

The Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings may have anticipated some early struggles with their top players injured. It’s safe to say both clubs are weathering the storm better than expected.
Each coming off a close loss to one of the top teams in the NBA, the Rockets and Kings square off for the second time in nine days Saturday night in Houston. The Rockets came into this season with stars Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming each recovering from major surgery. Their top returning scorer is Luis Scola, who averaged 12.7 points in 2008-09.

I hate to be that guy, I REALLY do, but a win tonight would GREATLY surprise me. I don't the Rox losing this game honestly. I'm already looking to a hopeful 3 game winning streak (Memphis, New York, New Jersey).

Yeah, it's going to be tough to win tonight. We've got a good chance, but it really will be tough. If Spencer can get his shot going, that should be helpful since he should be able to shoot over Hayes.

Should be a good game to watch. The big key is really limiting the unforced turnovers. We all know this, and I'm sure the players know this. But it's easier said than done.

It's going to be tough. They are a very scrappy team like us. There is a revenge factor for them. So, this game is not going to be a cake walk. We have to come out with focus and effort to beat them on their homecourt.

Limit the TOs please!

maybe so, but come on give rick adelman some credit, he has unique ability to handle players, create a positive environment and maximize their performance, his team always knows what they are supposed to do and they execute the game plan. so its not just scrappiness and hustle...

Sadly i cant say the same thing about PW, our game plan is very predictable, give the ball to the PG and let him make a play, im yet to to see him utilize Hwaes and Thompson by running the offense through them from time to time....

it was a mistake to let Adelman go
hiring Mr.phenomenal was a mistake
and firing Reggie Theus was a mistake

He doesn't need to stop shooting them--just limit them.

But it is very encouraging to see him hit a couple.

Ah crap, I just tuned in and NO Tyreke? A win will be tough tonight.

P.S. I HATE Scola. He looks like a scrub but doesn't play that way. That's dirty if you ask me.
