Carl Landry for 6th man

Post#1 » by Crackfool » Sun Nov 22, 2009 1:06 pm

The guy has been our best offensive option down the clutch. Every time we win, it's because he went off and scored 20 points. I'd like to see him get some recognitions.

Also, I'd like to see:

Chuck Hayes for Defensive Player of the Year (won't happen)
Daryl Morey for Executive of the Year (will probably happen, considering his name is associated with the Rockets more than any player at the moment)
Rick Adelman for Coach of the Year (maybe)
Trevor Ariza for Rafer Alston of the year (low FG%: check, sloppy missed layups: check, high volume of shot attempts: check)

Never going to happen even though he deserves it.. He probably wont even be mentioned.. not only that, he is a post player. seems like this award is reserved for gaurds and small forwards.

Landry has improved so much. He is able to avoid getting his shot blocked while still finishing his layups and dunks. And of course his jumper has improved but its really his play around the basket thats helping us big time right now.

I'd like to see him win it just as much as anyone else here... But with guys like Jason Terry and Jamal Crawford who are pretty much starters on most other teams and playing starter minutes it wont happen :(

if aaron brooks keeps up with the TOs, he can kiss his Most Improved player bye bye.

Tmac looks like a candidate for the most depraved player at the moment.

Carl needs to start at SF for Shane.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Carl is scoring at a TS of 64%, if he keeps up and the Rockets show a little bit of improvement in terms of winning.....he's got it in the bag.
