61 yard pass play to a guy that wasn't even in the league a couple of weeks ago. Steelers deserved this loss.

The Ravens and Bengals both lost. This was the Steelers chance to get even with the Bengals record and gain another game on the Ravens. It was a wasted opportunity.

The bad news just keeps on coming. I heard on the radio today while heading to work that Big Ben is questionable, charlie batch is lost for the year (wrist injury), and Dixon might be the starter.

Just posted the news on the board. Batch just played his first game since 2007 and he's out just like that. He doesn't have the best of luck with these injuries. Best of luck to him on his recovery.

Big Ben is a major concern. Especially wit the NF implementing these safety concerns about NFL players taking blows to the head. As we all know concussions can take cause the brain to swell to the point where it can hemorrage.(bleed from within) I can't say how serious is Ben's concussion really is, but his safety and health are first. You only get one life. If he doesn't practice this week, it's a possibility he may not play against the Ravens. It does not bode well for the Steelers who are struggling to make these wins count then stack up missing TP43 which has the defense crumbling. To possibility miss Big Ben, how can the Steelers regroup and adjust.

Then like you said loco, Dennis Dixon. He hasn't played as an NFL starter. I was a fan of his back in college @ Oregon. If he ends up starting in Ben's place against the Ravens of all teams. God help the Steelers and Dennis Dixon b/c he could get the heat check of a lifetime.

Return to Pittsburgh Steelers
