I think we just found a potential problem with resizr.

Totally forgot that Aldo vs. Brown is tonight. Should be a good fight, those little guys work hard.

There it is, thanks. :D

You need to save your images once you re-size them and host them at photobucket or imageshack etc.. or they will disappear like above.

so Ron Artest is now officially my favorite basketball player of all time....

Here's a quote from him about the now infamous Shoe-throwing....

"Well what happened was…obviously I didn't know his shoe would come off that's the first thing conservative reporters. I didn't know his shoe was gonna come off. I don't speak to his feet so I don't know what his feet are thinking, I don't know what his toes are thinking, I don't know what he’s thinking. Then his shoe comes off and I'm like okay a shoe is not supposed to be on the basketball court without somebody standing inside of it. So I said alright, I'm just gonna buy me some time. I really didn't know whose shoe it was, but I said it has to be one of the player's shoe. As soon as I toss it off the court, not throw into the stands which some people said, it'll buy me some time. What happens is I come back down, Trevor is trying to put his shoe on and I politely hit a three in his face."

I didn't see what the big deal was and the Houston announcers definitely went crazy saying he threw the shoe into the crowd, etc.

I can't do the spin launch in 2k anymore. This was a go to move of mine, I've been working on it in the practice mode for almost an hour subbing in different players and just cannot get it done.

instructions show: "With the ball and an unused dribble, enter the Protect Ball stance. Release LT and move the LS opposite the player's facing direction."

HELP, I need my move back!

You talking about the spin move in the post?

Don't hold the LT anymore because they now have an auto post up. Just get in post position, push the way you want to go with the left stick and then tap the LT. After it releases you should spin in the direction you chose. It also works with a live dribble so that shouldn't be an issue either.

Nah, I'm good in the post. I can't do the spin launch from the triple threat.

Ah, you know I haven't tried that much yet. I know they took out some moves that seemed to automatically get you by a defender. Maybe that was one of them? I'll try it out and see if I can pull it off. Are you using the lolcats?

I was about to fire up some Dragon Age and watch the game but I'll put in 2k10 and see whats up.

Yea, I've been practicing with the Lolers, but I figure DJ's crazy handle should suffice. Can't do it with Wallace or Jackson either. It's in the tutorial, so I figure it's in the game...but maybe only superstars can do it. I should probably try doing it from the practice play version, it's hard enough to get an unused dribble in the freestyle mode or whatever the "lone player in the gym" mode is called.

Well it's definitely not like last years triple threat move where you basically explode by the defender. It's much slower and they lower the ball down in front of the defender with both hands and then just dribble to their off hand direction. I can pull it off with Wade consistently, with Chalmers he's getting cut off by his defender a lot.

Sounds like they've changed the animation, but it's still in the game. Good. I'll have to give Wade a go and see if I can get it to work regularly. Also, I thought the old animation was overpowered, but the triple threat is lacking without being able to spin out in the opposite direction, so I was pretty disappointed when I couldn't activate it at all.

Yeah, I agree the triple threat is not what it once was. I find the move I use the most is the jab right where the shimmy the ball in front of them and then I'll go left. Also damn you are right about how hard it is to get the ball in position to do these moves in freestyle mode. You have to pick the ball up off the floor. They won't let you pump fake to stop dribbling and then try to start all over again. You'll end up stuck there until you shoot it.

I remember saying after the Bucks decided not to pick up Alexander's contract that I was glad I wasn't a Bucks' fan. :(

In fairness to me, that was after they gave away Dicky, and decided to let the guy from Remulak and Sessions walk.
Humble yourself.

I need a blu ray player. I'm just starting my research but thought I'd ask to see if anyone had any experience with units they really loved or hated.
