VS Denver
@ Jacksonville
@ NY Jets
@ Bills

Saints remaining schedule:
VS New England
@ Washington
@ Atlanta
VS Dallas
VS Tampa Bay
@ Carolina

I highly doubt the Saints go undefeated with a tough schedule to end the year but Indianapolis can easily do it. The toughest competition they play is probably Houston maybe Denver or Jacksonville.

I think Washington and Carolina is where we lose, to be honest.

We NEED that New England game to get us back on track... either by beating a really good team, or by losing and learning to correct our mistakes.

I agree with NO-KG-AI. Carolina played NO well in the Superdome. Washington is an obvious trap game - on the road, after a big one against NE, against a Washington team that's underachieving but plays defence. That said, it's not like I'm missing NO/NE.

The Colts will not win the Superbowl this season. You heard it here. Sig this, please.

I think the Vikings have the best team in the NFL and it's not because of Favre (who the media gives all the attention to besides AP).

I wouldnt go that far. I dont think the Colts are the Super Bowl favorite at this point, but they have as good of a chance as any team in the NFL. The knock on them seems to be that they are getting lucky and squeaking by, but great teams find a way to win and that is what they are doing. Every team that plays the Colts knows in the back of their head that the Colts will come back and find a way to win (Hence Bill Belichick). You dont have to blow everyone out to win the Super Bowl, ask the 2007 Patriots.

Look at the year the Colts won the Super Bowl, they were much more dominant the year before, but in the year they won it, they just managed to win games. That's the character of a great team. I think the scary thing for the rest of the league is that the Colts haven't even played that great of football as of late, and they're still 10-0, against quality AFC teams like the Pats and the Ravens.

Why would anyone sig that? It's not a bold prediction. Taking the field is the easy road. Hell, I'd probably take the field too. The NFL playoffs comes down to a lot of luck.

The tuck. Jeff Saturday recovering the football in the end zone. Santonio Holmes making a great catch in the end zone. David Tyree's catch. If you look at any of those plays, if they don't happen, those teams never win.

In the NBA and the MLB, the best teams generally always win. In the NFL, it can be anyone.

Well you guys that called the Saints loss to Washington were almost right...

Here is whats left after the last 2 weeks:

Colts:

VS Denver
@ Jacksonville
@ NY Jets
@ Bills

Saints:

@ Atlanta
VS Dallas
VS Tampa Bay
@ Carolina

The Colts have some possible cold/bad weather games playing in New York 2 weeks in a row at the end of December. They're remaining schedule is harder than the Saints. Denver is a pretty good team, and although inconsistent, Jacksonville might be up to the task of beating the Colts.

The Saints have all indoor/good weather games left. With the injuries to Atlanta I think Dallas will be their biggest obstacle to 16-0.

the game to lose for the saints was against washington. not because washington was good. but the level they played at against the patriots was on such a high level . . . NO ONE could have beaten them on that day. the saints execution was at an extremely high level. all facets were on fire. and if 1 mistake was made against them, the game was going to be over. however, with that type of high level of play and execution one week, there had to be a let down somewhere, and it came against washington. fortunately for the saints, the redskins are a letdown to begin with. the kicker misses a 20yd field goal and a bunch of other mistakes were committed and it was over.

with that, i dont see it happening again or anyone getting that close of an opportunity until the playoffs.

the saints should run the table imo. then it gets scary tight in the semifinals and finals.

To be fair though, we were struggling like hell to get the offense going, yet Bush/Thomas get a total of 7 carries combined, while Mike Bell gets 16?

I dunno, sometimes I think he's saving guys when we play against "lesser" teams.

13-0 each. This is big. What are the chances they both go 16-0? That would be insane. And if they met in superbowl if they did that. That would be the biggest superbowl of all time probly.

I want to see that just because I could see the 1972 Dolphins getting together for the Super Bowl and hoping for a tie.

Maybe make a petition to have Bud Selig become NFL commisioner in the couple weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.

The Colts wont go undefeated unless the backups do the winning. The Colts will rest their starters like they have in years past starting this week. I dont expect the Saints to rest many people. They will keep the peddle down, much like the 2007 Patriots.

Sean Payton came out and said the decision to rest is going to be on Drew Brees and the players.

So it looks like they'll be playing to the last snap.

We're really vulnerable right now though to be honest, ANY team could knock us off. Missing our top two CBs is a terrible trickle down effect. We have to have safety help over the top, we can't stop the run because we have to keep them deep, we can't bring as many guys to get after the QB, and the QB can get the ball out quicker now.
