It's not throwing him under the bus to acknowledge that we could be getting a lot more for that $20m.

Guy has the 8th biggest contract in the league this year.

Was I the only one really alarmed that KG was limping following the failed alley oop? I hope it was due to the knee to knee he took earlier in the game, but I that would be merely wishful thinking

Clyde Frazier was all over that on the Knicks broadcast.

He isn't moving too well.

Yeah, I was watching the Celtics broadcast on league pass. It is almost like the Cs announcers refuse to acknowledge that KG doesn't look right. I'm down right concerned

It's looking a lot different than it was in 2007-08. We were smoking teams left and right, and were able to coast a bit heading into the playoffs. Maybe one night, Ray would take over, another night it would be KG, another night it would be Pierce.

Thought the deeper bench would help us this year, and it still might, but it' looking more like the 2nd half of last year where every game was contested and we ran out of gas by the time the 2nd round came.

Cleveland was smoking teams left and right last year too..we all know what that got them..

I can't stand these predictions people are making. 'Oh we are going to suck in May, because we are sucking in November '..sheesh..sit back and enjoy the ride people. After 20 years, we finally contend for 3 straight seasons and people are complaining..what do ya'll want? Lottery picks again? 20-60 records?Damn...

I definitely enjoy it, but I enjoy it more when we can win a title, which I think i more likely if we spent Ray's $20m on someone else this year. I'm greedy like that.

With that said, the least enjoyable "enjoyable teams" are the ones on the way down. The late 80s Celtic teams a fine example of that. There are plenty of people who were around that team who agree that we should have traded McHale before the wheels came off.

Ray is absolutely been slipping for a while now. Honestly this 'touches" stuff is bunk. Paul and Rondo got him some nice looks and he failed at it. He got a sweet pass near the basket - but he couldn't finish and just didn't look great even taking some what should be easy jumpers.

MD needs more time - and Ray less at this point. PP and Rondo WILL feed the hot hand. So if Ray actually got going "touches" wouldn't be a problem. Ray looks like a JAG out there.

One thing that I liked was that Perkins played more minutes than he usually does and Wallace played less than he usually does. I would like the to become a trend. Perkins needs to play about 32 minutes a game, not 25-26. Wallace has been struggling with his shot, so he needs to se less floor time.

I feel Doc should do the same thing with Ray and Daniels. Ray needs to play about 3-4 minutes less than he is playing and Daniels needs to play 3-4 more minutes. Ray and Wallace need to earn more minutes and not be handed minutes. If they are hot, I have no problmes. Otherwise Doc should get the players in that are more productive.

The rebuilding process? Man you are the most useless poster on these boards. Just go away already.

Yes the rebuilding process. Have you watched this team the past two weeks? What I see here is an old team that gets out hustled and outplayed by younger athletic teams. That is not going to change. This team reminds me of the 1991 celtics. A team that can win 50 games but will ultimately lose in the playoff because they are old.

Lets be honest. KG looks like a role player at best (canman said this and I agree with him) Ray Allen is gone after this year. Why not put them on the block and see what you can get in return. Like a few young players and picks. This will ensure that the team does not go into a huge downfall like the Celtics did after the big 3 were gone.

Please go away. I think anybody should be able to understand why the C's tanked after the big 3.

It's a long season......nothing to get worked up about....not yet. We just need to stay healthy and get a couple guys out of their offensive slump.
