Wolves Bumped from ESPN Broadcast

Well, that’s what happens when you’re 1-12 with a 12-game losing streak…

The Wolves-Suns game Friday at Target Center was scheduled for an unusually late 8:30 p.m. tip as the second half of an ESPN Friday night doubleheader.

The game has been scratched from the ESPN schedule and replaced by the Oklahoma City-Milwaukee game that features Bucks rookie sensation Brandon Jennings and Kevin Durant and Co.

The game will stay as an 8:30 p.m. start because presumably to change it now would create more problems than it’d solve.

Well I'm a wolves fan and I'd rather watch the Milwaukee/Thunder game, so I'd say this was the right move.

Jennings! Durant!

Bah, I was originally going to be in town for the game but now I'm flying back that night, I was hoping to catch parts of it in the airport. Oh well.

LOL, this team is sorry as hell. There goes any chance of having nationally games next year too. What a disgrace to the NBA.

If we get the number one pick (John Wall), we'd probably get at least a half dozen national games. Otherwise, you're probably right.

Apparently the Wolves are going to draft garbage, sign no one, and Jefferson and Love being healthy won't matter. Oh, and our GM will not make any trades. He's the type that never makes roster moves after all.

It wouldn't be the same watching them on TV lol, i'm so used to watching them in crappy quality online. I don't want to know what Stewie Pecherov really looks like.

i remember this very thing happening in the early days of the wolves, more often than not they'd reschedule us some boring sunday game against either a really bad team and have their C-squad announcers do it, or schedule a high profile team so they can watch their star go off for a quintripple double

Good, they don't deserve a national game. You gotta earn your stripes. Thats the mindset that got me where I am today. Used to be I was making $6.25 an hour washing dishes at Denny's. Now I'm making $7.15 an hour as dishwashing supervisor at Bennigan's.

I'd be happy with that
German community service payment sucks. I get about 750 $ for working 180-200 hours a month. Fortunately I've to do it only 9 months

In all honesty, I'm a little bit glad they took the game away, cause let's be honest, they would have spent the entire 2 1/2 hours basically ripping on our team, and they already do it enough, let's not give them more fodder to work with.

Call you this fans?

Do you ever hear the sentence "You'll Never Walk Alone"?

Obviously, this isn't the Target Center's door ...

what's German community service payment? In the US, community service means you committed a low level crime and now you have to pick up trash on the side of the highway in an orange mesh vest.

well I'll stick to my team and I'll watch as many games as I can when they're playing absolute crap but I don't want them to embarrass themselves in National Television. then again, I actually couldn't care less about what people think of the Wolves because it couldn't get any worse than what I sometimes think of them. I also wouldn't want some potential trolls to come here after seeing how bad the Wolves played.
