Would you give him up for Corie Brewer and Jazz' pick from Minny?

Since the pick would likely be heavily protected, no. Rush's defense alone makes him very valuable. He is the best man-to-man defender I've ever seen on the Pacers, even over Artest. His offense will come in time, and if it doesn't, we still have a great defender.

Remember Rush is now just a sophomore. Sure he played suck, but it's still too early to trade him. All he needs now is to gain confidence and drive to the hoop more often. He is not the only one with too much shooting problem.

What I more worried about is our point guard. Both T.J. and Earl are not bad at defese end, but neither of them have done a good job calling other teammates running the offense in the system, especially when we were in time having problem shooting well. Everytime when our offense is struggle, you can see these two dribbling for a long time then finish the play themselves, and that usually turns out to be a shot missed or a turnover.

TJ and Watson are decent, but they lack the size to be super-effective.

Probably not ready to give up on Rush quite yet. If he continues to struggle throughout this year and into next you might consider it but not yet.
