We get ripped off in this deal. It's pretty much a salary dump of Sessions, which he actually has positive value. The 28-30th pick in the draft doesn't have that much value, even in a good draft, especially when we'll likely have decent 2nd rounders.

We have later 2nd rounders. We traded ours away.
I'd also like to point out that the 30th first round pick counts against our cap about as much as not having anyone. It just fills a roster spot.

I'd rather use the $3 mil in cash we got from the Lakers to buy another late 1st rounder (from, say, Orlando). Then we could get 2 big centers late in the draft and hope one of them pans out. Last year was the year of the PG, this year it's bigs. Lots and lots of bigs.

That is, of course depending on where we pick in the draft. If we get the #2 overall and take Favors then we might be trading one of Favors, Jefferson, or Love.
