That said, I was never high on this kid, but I always leave room for my opinion to be changed, so I am eager to see him play this season a number of times.

He's a lot of fun to watch I recommend it

6'6 length is about average for a shooting guard which is good considering his height (anyone got the concrete stats on this?)

Willie Warren has a chance to become a Wade type. But, those undersized scorers are a lot more likely to be the next DeJuan Wagner or Randy Foye than they are to be the next Wade.

As far as I am concerned, the jury is still out on Warren.

Except Warren is nothing like Foye or Wagner.

I keep hearing this Foye comparison and it makes no sense.

Watch their games and look at their stats they have nothing in common.

I know mixes arent perfect but itll give you some idea:
Foye:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zinGNVyxfUo
Warren:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJL6TB51PDs (best i could find of college stuff)

Warren is much more efficient than Foye was is a much better playmaker than Foye was, is a much better passer than Foye was, is a much better slasher than Foye was, and is a much better shooter than Foye was.

Foye was a very strong prospect and Warren has done nothing to prove himself an across the board better player than him.

Agreed.
Hell, Foye was traded for Roy.

Maybe he is a similar type of prospect to Eric Gordon, but I see Gordon as the better player, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Gordon's defense and strength made him a much easier transition to being an NBA SG than Warren will have.

I really like Favors so far after watching him play today.

He got a couple early fouls so he only played 6 minutes or so 1st half. But man he's a very efficient player, doesn't force bad shots, boxes out well, plays with high energy, can block shots. His fg % will be very high, he's very good down low.

He's going to be a great low post scorer in the nba who collects a ton of rebounds.

The thing I like about Favors is he thinks the game well. For someone as athletic and talented as him that's a great sign. Kid is going to be a special player down the road.

I like Warren a lot. He's got all the tools you look for in a combo guard.

But, I have a really hard time believing he's 6'4''. After seeing him in the All American game in high school, and all of last year, he looks like he's 6'3'' tops.

I don't really get the Foye comparisons either. I don't know why, but Willie reminds me an awful lot of Steve Francis. Maybe not quite as explosive an athlete, but not that far off, either.

He was measured at 6'3.5 in sneakers this summer, it's on draftexpress.com.
6'6 wingspan.

Jack is more of a true point guard and less of a dynamic scorer than Warren. I think at this point Ben Gordon is the best comparison.

I've seen this comparison a lot and if it holds true that is a hell of a player to have.

Well, there is no telling if he will be as good as Gordon, just similar style of play.

I stand corrected. That's a good inch taller than I thought he was.

The Ben Gordon comparison is a good one. The only big differences I see between the two are Willie's superior explosiveness, and their differences in temprament. Ben certainly isn't passive, but he's definitely a more quiet, introverted player than Warren, who tends to wear his emotions on his sleeve, which I like.

He's like a more aggresive, worse shooting, better passing Ben Gordon in my eyes
