Bynum for Gay? help!

Post#1 » by ShotBlocka » Tue Nov 24, 2009 4:49 pm

I have a trade proposal,

I'm giving up Andrew Bynum for Rudy Gay.

I could use Gay's scoring because I have alot of injuries on my time (k-mart,mike miller, bogut) and I'm thinking about picking up Pryzibilla to make up for lost rebounds/blks.

god no. keep bynum.

Pryzbilla won't make up for the points, rebounds, FG% or blocks. Gay is a scorer, those guys are dime a dozen. there's probably 2 players like Rudy on every team in the league. A true C like Bynum, there's on every 7 teams or so.

I think Gay is going to tear it up in a contract year but everyone has a point. Your C's are solid but look what happens when somebody goes down, like Bogut being injured. Without Bynum... you are very thin. If anything, I'd try to make the trade a 2 for 2 and get a C or PF from him that is not as good as Bynum but will still be serviceable in those areas.

i'd keep drew bynum and ride him. like the other guy said bogut is out now and andrea isn't really a classic big man on the boards.

if you want a swingman bad, see if there's any biters on carmelo or JJ for drew.

Re: Bynum/RJ for Gay/Odom help!

I've traded RJ to for Odom to help me pick up rebounds

Now I will trade Bynum for Rudy Gay to help with me scoring.

Any thoughts on this? I think it's a fair trade.

Gay averages less than 2 more points per game than Bynum. It won't be the deciding factor on whether you win or lose your league.
