I actually didn't really love the way the team played tonight. I felt like we were kind of coasting at times--which turned out to be fine win-wise, but ehh...

Mostly, I was completely shocked that Spencer wasn't getting more minutes. I don't know if I missed something Grant and Jerry said to explain that or what, but he was flat out dominating when he got the minutes. But he only got 18 minutes for some reason. This continues the trend of going small against small teams when we're in great shape going big.

Still, you can't complain too much with a relatively easy win. And Donte was awesome. Of course, we can't expect him to shoot like this every night.

I think it's because he wanted to give Brockman minutes.

My two thoughts from this game are:

a) Donte F'ing Greene!!!!

and

b) I had no idea Gallinari was that freaking big! He's just as big as Jason Thompson, he's the size of a full sized PF.

I think match-ups were just a problem for Hawes later on in the game. I mean, the Knicks had Nate Robinson guarding Greene! They even had a three PG lineup (Duhon, Robinson, Douglas) at times, with Gallo and Harrington at PF and C. I think PW realized that it was going to be an up tempto game, especially after Robinson went off, so he kept Hawes out of the lineup.

But yeah, I feel the same way as you guys about the Nets game--especially since Harris is getting healthy. I just hope we come out and play to win--not to not lose. That's a mistake teams often make in games like this.
