I kept waiting for Tim Donaghy to show up and pay off the refs for keeping the game closer than it should have been. No Delonte last night, I wonder what the issue was this time. Oh well, a win is a win. Lebron went into selfish mode again, I hope that doesnt become a habit for him.

What I don't like about this game is when it got somewhat tight we went back into "give Lebron the ball and stand around mode" while he dribbled and chucked.

That works against weak teams like DET but bites us in the ass every time against elite teams. It's just bad basketball.

Mike Brown has to call a timeout and COACH and tell Lebron to keep moving the ball. Yes Lebron carries this team to a ridiculous extent but I don't think a coach can just stand there and worship everything Lebron does on the floor, it's what led to him developing some of these bad habits in the first place.

That's a problem. Brown hasn't HAD to coach, because he could just give it to Lebron and have him carry the team. However, and I reference Lebron's trip to the finals and last year's ECF- when Lebron is not on, or when he faces a good TEAM, he won't be able to do it alone. Nobody in the history of the game has been able to win without help. The other players need to step up into their roles and hit shots. Lebron has already shown the willingness to let others step up, but it is up to them to do it. Or else you risk having Lebron lose confidence in them and turn into Kobe Bryant from 2000-2008.

That is what I was saying, Lebron has on a couple of occasions forgotten to include his teammates to the detriment of the team. Just because he has shown the willingness in the past doesnt mean he should be given a pass when he doesnt now.
