LOL i find it hilarious that they believed kobe actually convinced the Clippers he would have signed with them...As bad as things were, I don't think Kobe ever gave serious thought to bolting, only using as bait to tell management to get off their a** and get to work :lol: :lol:

Kobe would have signed with the Clipps if the Lakers didn't chose him over Shaq. I believe that.

Kobe's exactly the type of player who would play for a crosstown team just to spite them. Really if you have ambition like he does, it's the best case scenario: take arguably the worst franchise in the sport, one that's in the same town as the best, and beat them at their own game. Nothing would have been more embarrassing for the Buss family.

Kobe's just the kind of guy who'd do it. That's what makes him great.
