Trade to announce:

Chicago trades 2006 1st and 2007 2nd for San Antonio's 4th round contraction pick.

One of the guys we were eyeing made it this far, and my 2006 pick will hopefully be near the bottom of the league, so we don't feel like we gave up too much for a decent player.

SA accepts, we like a few guys but adding picks in a small draft is good for our future, trading this pick will leave us the opertunity to sign a feww FA's with our cap space

Nah, both are too lopsided, it's just your 2nd one iirc.

I wasn't around to say anything when that deal was made either. On account of having about six lives i'm trying to live simultaneously.

Eh, teaching a bunch of kids who aren't majoring in Economics about economics? not fun

Learning about economics while running regression analysis? Not fun

Writing about the evolution of the monetary debates in england in the 19th century? Not fun

Moderating three message boards? It has its moments.

Working at a boring job to pay for school? Not fun

Hooping 3x a week, MTK 2x a week, BJJ 2x a week, running 5x a week? Fun

I think that ratio is flipped around...damnit.

Clippers accept. No clear cut guy to put me over the top here, helps me keep my finances in check and replenish the draft pick supply. The likelihood that one of those picks develops a very good player is high IMO.

The Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls have reached an agreement:

Raptors Trade:
Tracy McGrady $1,767,120

Bulls Trade:
Ron Artest $1,079,760
Corey Benjamin $696,000
2000 Chicago 1st Round Pick

Raptors Agree, I don't think McGrady would stay here and I needed some defense and toughness that Artest brings

Confirmed. We think McGrady will enjoy playing for a big market with tons of young talent surrounding him, and Artest is a loose cannon that may or may not work out.

Orlando did not mean to waive John Amaechi originally, but he got mixed up in the list.

I guess I will pick him back up at $385,000.
