Question about Porter...

how come last year terry porter didn't allow his assistant coaches talk to the media?

Terry Porter was a control freak, not that it's a bad thing but he had way to many egos on that team, Nash, Shaq, Amare, etc...I think he would have been a decent coach if the Suns had just a whole bunch of young guys but it never works when you have egotisical players and a hard line coach. The same goes for the assistants I guess, two were former NBA players and the other was Gentry.

the problem with porter was that he is a terrible coach, and he's abrasive and it's his-way or the highway despite however a team is constructed. what's different? Gentry is an awesome coach, with an awesome crew of full-hearted players.

caused us the playoffs. Porter is not a good coach.
