The Turkey trophy

Post#1 » by Slava » Fri Nov 27, 2009 4:53 am

The Lakers are on a three-day break, but they will be back in the gym today to partake in Phil Jackson’s Thanksgiving tradition of pitting the big guys against the small guys. The legendary Lakers coach fondly calls the battle between the “goons” and the “fairies” the “Turkey Trot.” Sasha Vujacic belongs to the small guys’ team and is proud to have won the contest last year. We’ll find out soon if they will be able to keep the turkey trophy this year.

And to his fans who have remained amazingly loyal, here’s Sasha’s Thanksgiving message for you:
“Thank you for the support. Thank you for not giving up on me. Thanks for believing in me. Thanks for being there. Happy Thanksgiving!“

Never heard of this game before but Phil Jackson is a strange dude.

It's really sad that there are people who haven't given up on this worthless idiot yet.

Happy Thanksgiving.
